As Harrison scooped up the bag by its arms and threw it across his back, he didn't waste any more time trying to run out of there. He heard the jiggling of items inside the bag, but he couldn't open them yet. Why pause just to see what's in the bag when you could see later and not get your head chopped off? Seeing later seemed like a good idea to him. He ripped the machete off of the bag with his free hand, just in case someone tried to throw a swing at him. He saw Raya as he practically ran around in a full circle deciding on which way to go. Normally he wouldn't be picky, but this time he had to be. A lucky guess could mean the difference between life and dead. He saw a lot of fights going on, people slashing at backs of fellow tributes. Lives were being ruined for others' personal gain. It helped Harrison too, but the thought of killing a real live person scared the hell out of him.
He saw a tribute running in front of him. Two of them, actually. His eyes widened as he recognized the one far ahead of him. It was Raya. He started to run a bit faster now, checking the girl in front of him to the right of him. She, considering that she was a bit wobbly from Harrison's right arm, fell, practically going all the way down into wherever the hell the bottom is. He didn't look down because if you look down, you will never look back up. Charging after Raya, he heard more screaming, yelling, and pain. It was a good thing he didn't have to see it. "Raya, wait up!"

Why do you even bother? Reko glanced around him quickly to check his allies and how they were doing, not that he cared to join their fights but he was curious. The career quickly snatched up the knives he wanted, turning around and quickly throwing one right into the back of the fleeing district 9 male. With a smirk stretched across his face, Reko ran at the other male as he fell forward with the surprise of the hit. The boy wasn't dead though, and Reko couldn't leave that be. He came at the young man and as he tried to get up, grabbing him and pulling him back and down to the ground. "You have my knife." He snarled. The boy pulled away, crawling back away from Reko and staring at the large career. "Where are you going?" Reko questioned, chucking a second knife into his chest with a sick grin to his face. The cannon was enough to tell Reko he was done, and the career smirked, kneeling long enough to retrieve the knives from the boy's body. He got up after wiping the blood off the knife on the other tribute's shirt. He moved away from him and back toward the cornucopia area.
It was then that he saw his female district partner hurrying to grab some things inside for herself rather than wait for the pack. He wasn't really the ally type himself, but he knew their worth, and he felt betrayed. That was for sure. People were useless and they were traitors. Reko forgot about his last kill, this time his face twisted with anger as he headed right for the other female. "You thieving b*tch where do you think you're going!?" He snapped and grabbed the female, who dropped what she had grabbed while his back was turned. He shoved her against the metallic wall, holding her there with his hand to her throat. She tried to fight him off, but he was much larger than she was and he was angry. Very angry.
"You think you can just walk out with our things cause we aren't looking?" He snarled, and the female shook her head just a bit. "It sure looked like you were gathering up to make a run for it. I don't know what you thought, but this whole ally thing works together, and taking the pack's supplies and leaving well... You should know stealing my toys and fun is a horrible horrible idea." He snarled, watching her and tightening his hold on her neck to watch her struggle breathing. He gave a bit of a shrug though. "I know you thought, hey he's from my district he'd never hurt me. Well, you're sadly wrong. I don't care where any of you are from, you're all going to be dead in the end of this." He snarled. She coughed a bit, grabbing his arm to try and push him away, but instead he only held on tighter. He held her, staring into her eyes as she struggled, feeling some sort of justice from taking her out. He smiled more as she just stopped breathing, blue in the face, and he stepped back letting her fall to the ground. "You would have been a useful ally if you weren't a thief." He commented.
Quickly he turned and looked around. A lot of fleeing was happening for sure, but he wasn't willing to chase people down too far. He had to keep this space for him and the actually loyal people. He saw Esmeralda and another tribute in a scuffle over a bag and the sword, but he wasn't in a hurry as he moved that way.

Surprisingly, Ariadne reached her goal and scooped up the ax first. She felt so much less naked and vulnerable with the sharp weapon in her hands. As if afraid someone would be able to come by and grab it from her, the girl kept hold of it in one hand and transferred it as she quickly slipped each strap of the bag over her shoulder. So far, so good.
Amidst the chaos, she glanced around until she spotted her district partner, Calem. He too seemed to have gotten the bag he went for without trouble. She felt bad that the plan they had agreed on left him potentially without a weapon, unless there was one in that bag. But he had agreed to it, and while it wasn't that she didn't trust him... she felt better if she was the one with an ax in her hand. Just in case.
This point should be the point where Ariadne ran. They had both gotten something, and now they could disappear, re-group, plan. Survive. That was the point, right? The plan they had discussed? But as her eyes settled on a bag amid the chaos that hadn't even been touched, a different idea surface. On the bag was a bow, and inside? It could be anything. Neither she nor, as far as she knew, Calem had any experience with a bow, but with only one ax, they were vulnerable as a team. Vulnerable wasn't good in life or death situations, and he might not like the idea of her keeping the ax once they were away from this. She looked up at Calem, hoping he wasn't already planning to book it the other way, and gave a slight nod to the bag. Then, with ax in hand, Ariadne ran toward the bag with the bow and arrow laying on top, hoping her gut would lead her to acquiring that bag without a fight even while her head screamed at her to just run away.

Calem had reached his target bag without interception and promptly scooped it up. He turned on his heels and bolted back across the bridge, away from the Cornucopia. Now I just need to meet up with Ariadne, and we can get out of here. He tossed a glance behind him as he was running to see if anyone was following him and, hopefully, pinpoint his district partner. The boy from 5 appeared at the end of the bridge and ran towards Calem; he couldn't tell whether he was trying to attack or just run away from the Careers, but Calem wasn't about to wait to find out. He quickly opened up his bag and searched inside for anything that could be used as a weapon. A knife, a spile, a stick--anything. His fingers found something small and metal and immediately pulled it out. Perfect, he thought as he zipped the bag back up and confidently faced the tribute running towards him. The boy was unarmed and causing the bridge to bounce with his running. This gave Calem an idea.
The District 7 tribute charged towards the other boy, taking forceful steps that rippled along the bridge, with knife gripped tightly in his right hand. The waves startled the District 5 male and unbalanced him. Seizing the opportunity, Calem slashed at his left thigh. The boy cried out in pain and favored his right leg. He had leaned to the right just enough, coupled with the bouncing of the bridge, that the bridge tilted to the side, and the boy hurtled off the edge with the help of a "small" push. Calem stopped, but not to to look at the boy. He was staring at Ariadne. The bridge's bouncing began to subside. She returned his gaze, and then nodded to a bag that had been untouched with a bow and arrows visible. She wasn't going to run. She was going to risk her life to get another bag. And all the careers were still there and now had weapons.
Calem finished the last stretch of the bridge and landed back on the Cornucopia platform. He was going to stand a little ways back, just close enough to help Ariadne if she was attacked, but just far enough to hopefully get away from Careers if Ariadne got away with the bag. Then they could be home-free, at least for a little while. They could find somewhere safe to camp, find some food and water, divvy up the contents of their bags, and survive for one more day.
Summary: Picks up bag #2, equips 6-inch blade (+1), and kills District 5 male by stabbing and pushing him off the bridge. HP: 23/23 Equipped: 6-inch knife (+1) Inventory 10-ft copper coil, fishing line, medical kit, cloth blanket, compass WC: 427

Esme had tried to dodge the attack from the blonde boy of six but hadn't managed to keep herself out of the way of his hard kick to the side. She heard a small crunch in her side and wondered if the kick had been hard enough to fracture one of her ribs. There was still no way in hell that the boy was going to get away with that, she wanted that sword and she would do anything to get it. She decided to give the boy one more chance to hand the sword over willingly before she would let herself loose and go for his neck. She would snap it if she had to... "Right boy. Either you let me take that sword or your life is forfeit. This is your last chance before I snap that pretty little neck of yours. get it?" she snarled. Her eyes were always darkened when she was angry and wasn't afraid to show it.

Calix made a face at the career girls warning but , he deiced it was best to agree with it. As much as it annoyed the crap out of him to give up the sword he deiced to let her have it. " Whatever Princess take it" he told the girl as he scanned the area for another bag. His then spotted a bag with a bow and arrow set sticking out of the top. Since the sword was out he figured that would be his last option. " Have fun Princess" he told the raven haired girl with a wave of his hand. After the goodbye to the pretty little career the blond boy headed off toward the bow and arrow set bag. Calix sighed to himself as kept running. As he thought about it he figured that the bow arrow set had to be like knives in some way. So, he wasn't worried about being bad at shooting them. But , his mind did wonder to worry how long the number of arrows would last him in the games. He supposed that gathering them after a kill was an option but , during a fight it was kind of dangerous. -------- HP: 19/20 (Edit) Inventory: n/a Actions: Heads for the bow and arrow bag

Esme was glad when the boy from six finally gave up his hold on the bag with the sword and seemed to scamper off after another bag that held a bow and arrow on top. She couldn't help but laugh manically when the boy from six called her a princess. "If anyone is a princess it's you boy!" she screamed at him before casually walking over to the bag with the sword on top and she picked then up, swinging the sword around in her hands for a few seconds before heading over to Reko and looking for the girl from four. She headed over to Reko and showed him her sword. "Looks like the small kid was frightened of a little competition for this sword. We should go and check out the cornucopia over there" she said and smirked. -------------------- Inventory: Sword (+2) (Visible) Cloth Blanket 1 Empty Canteen Fishing Line Box of (12) Matches Bandage Wrap (Good for +3 with fractures & sprains)

The district four female tribute took a couple seconds to look around at the carnage happening around her. This intel would do her well if she paid attention to who was strong enough to fight and yet still get away verses those cowards that just ran off. The girl also got into the bag and was pleased to see a knife, bungy cord, fishing net, and empty food containers. Seasrai pulled out the knife and held it in such a way and all she had to do was raise her hand and the blade would face away from her with the sharp edge always ready to plunge into a rival.
The woman stood up and settled the bookbag onto her shoulders. As soon as she did, she saw the girl from district 12 just so achingly close. She was going for a bag. Seasrai considered just letting the girl leave but she was already laughing hysterically, her body moving towards the girl, "What's the matter, not fast enough to play with the big girls? Eh, 12?" Seasrai continued to laugh as she started to run after the district 12 girl. She laughed even harder as the girl screamed her little head off. "It's ok...it's ok. It'll all be over soon...You will see..." Seasrai said as she caught the girl's hair. The district four female tribute yanked on her hair, her face looking straight up at the sky as the girl's legs failed to keep going. Seasrai started humming as she dragged her knife deeply across the other girl's neck. The woman let the girl drop, only pausing her humming as she said in a calm voice, "See that wasn't so bad, now was it." Her humming became laughter again as she looked around the arena for her allies. Seeing Reko at least, Seasrai headed towards him, shouting at him, HEY! Let's go have some fun!"

Calix was getting sick of this running into people going for bag he wanted. As much as he didn't want to he had to get out of there empty handed. So, that in mind he turned around to head out of the area. The light haired tribute wasnt really sure were he was going to but , he kept running. As the male ventured down what seemed like a hill he didn't look back. As much as he wanted to look back he knew that there was no need to. Plus there was no way for him to even think about going back. As much he needed a weapon he couldn't go back and risk himself. Now he had to rely on maybe a sponsor sending him a weapon. He knew that was good looking so, he hoped that maybe that would help with sponsors. After thinking that he kind of doubted that would happen. A sigh then reached the blond man's lips as he kept running down the steep hill. Despite hearing some noises he didn't look back to see if anyone was following him.

Ariadne didn't stop running until she was practically on top of the bag with the bow and arrows. She paused for a moment once she reached it, searching around her to make sure she wasn't about to be attacked. How many people were left still? Surprisingly, she was alone, free to take the bag. The only tributes who hadn't run away yet were herself, Calem, and three careers. She might purposefully not know their names or what district they were from, but it was easy to tell that the three tributes standing near the cornucopia were careers. They were enjoying this, and seemed un-phased by the slaughter. They were probably each responsible for several of the bodies that lay lifeless on this platform, waiting to be claimed by a hovercraft. She'd probably have to fight them some day - and hopefully not all at once - but not today. She and Calem were strong and currently a team, but they weren't suicidal.
She quickly picked up the bag she had come to claim, though it was heavy and awkward in combination with the bag on her back and the ax in her hand. There was nothing to do but to hold it in front of her and get out of here as fast as she could. She wished it was another ax or any other close range weapon she carried, but it was better than nothing. If there was another ax, it would be a career that got it. Ariadne turned and ran toward Calem, who had thankfully stayed up here. Just in case. They should be in the clear now at least, unless the careers decided it would be fun to chase out the tributes who had lingered the longest.
Not slowing as she came near her district partner, Ariadne ran across the nearest volcano bridge and left the cornucopia for whatever it was that lay beyond it.

Relief swept over Calem when Ariadne reached the bag, unchallenged. He honestly didn't want to run back into the bloodbath armed with only a knife, but if he had needed to, he would of in a heartbeat to honor his word. Reliable allies were hard to come by in the Games, but he trusted Ariadne. And he hoped Ariadne trusted him. They would get nowhere being allies without trust.
Ariadne charged right past him, holding her bag in what looked like a very awkward to manage position. Calem hesitated, looking out at the Careers who reveled in their kills, and hoped that they wouldn't follow the last two people leaving the Cornucopia. He didn't enjoy pushing that boy off into the lava or whatever the Gamemakers used to fill the volcano. He didn't enjoy hearing all of the screams, nor the thoughts about what happened to the tribute boy once he had reached the bottom. The Careers probably would have been absorbed in the event, laughing and thoroughly enjoying it. Calem did it to survive.
After a few seconds, Calem spun around and retreated across the bridge, following Ariadne into whatever the Gamemakers had in store for them next.

Why do you even bother? Reko's gaze scanned the area with a smirk across his face. All the little cowards running away after grabbing the first thing they could. He chuckled a bit, watching the two Sevens running off together. He'd made a couple of kills but... it didn't feel like enough. The district twelve was pathetic, so was the district nine. His district partner still had him on edge. Tense, angry, he wanted to go after someone else. But not yet, not now. There was time to go after them and oh how he would be sure to go on a hunt of his own soon enough. He couldn't wait to stab a blade straight through another pathetic tribute. The fact that he had seen that little deaf boy from Ten escape surprised him, but he just hadn't reached the boy. Or come across him. those two volunteers from Eight, well, he'd like to sink a sword into their chests just for taken attention off of himself and the other careers. They were the volunteers, how dare those two low district freaks take the Capitol's focus away from himself. He wasn't someone who liked to share, especially attention. If he ever needed any, the other tributes provided ample motivation for him to go for the win in these Games. Not that he wasn't motivated already.
His gaze moved to Esmeralda as she came to him, the smirk stuck on his face. "Be happy you're my ally, that's a nice sword." He commented with a slight chuckle. "And I'm not a coward like that little baby." He added, but not entirely as a threat. He'd fight her for sure if it came to that. He'd fight anyone if it would be of benefit. As long as they got along and there were other tributes then avoiding fighting her was to the most benefit. He offered a bit of a smile though. "We should go check it out, it is all ours." He agreed with an eagerness to his voice. He wanted to go get all the cool stuff he knew would be in there. He at least knew that there had to be something he wanted in there. Quickly he looked up to find Seasari and his smile widened.
"Of course let's have some fun. But we got some collecting to do." He commented, motioning the two girls to follow as he turned and headed inside eagerly. He wanted to see and hoped he could find a sword of his own. The young man moved inside with a bit of a skip in his step, happy to be where he was despite the idea that it was possible death that was facing him. There was also the heat. That hadn't quite gotten to him just yet, the energy of the whole thing keeping his mind elsewhere. He had a one track, very focused mind, that prevented his thoughts from wandering to the heat as long as he had something he was heading for. It would catch up soon enough, likely turn him grumpy even.
Reko headed inside, taking a good look around what was offered to them as the last ones left there. It was as he expected. The others had run, his small but strong allied group held their ground, and there were some good rewards awaiting them inside. Of course they had the disadvantage of the fact that their pack was smaller than average. Just himself, the District One girl, and the District Four girl. Ask him a week ago he never would have predicted his allies would just be these two girls. But the cowardly thief that was his district partner wasn't worth letting live. Seemed that the boy from One and the boy from Four weren't worth it either, as they'd been killed in the bloodbath too. They'd all learned the cost of rejecting the career alliance very quickly. And that cost had been their lives. The boy from Two wasn't guilty at all seeing them die, they'd made their choice. The wrong choice. As he looked over what was available to him he couldn't avoid the smug grin on his face and the hope that those fools were seeing what they would be missing.
His eye was immediately drawn to what at the time felt like the most glorious sword he had seen. The answer to his wish for one. He'd have thrown a fit had the girl from One gotten the only one in the arena. Before either of the other two came in he went that way, picking up the weapon and looking over it carefully. It felt heavy enough in his hand and almost natural, he could just imagine how much damage he could do with it. He didn't want to wait, but he knew he must, it was too early to go out and hunt the others. He glanced toward the entrance, smiling and holding up the sword as if to show it off. "I like mine better than yours anyway." He smirked toward Esme.

Seasrai walked closer to where her two allies were and was pleased that they all got to get the pickings of the Cornucopia. Like the Career Pack always did. Though she was surprised that it was so small but she guessed they were the best of the best and together they could still make quick work of the other weaker Tributes.
Though the girl from Four couldn't help but worry about how the rest of the Games played out. She did not trust Reko or Esme at all. Reko had to be stopped and it would not be good for her to get the final three and have to deal with these two on her own. Plus, she could survive without the plentiful bounty. Seasrai walked straight up to a trident and instantly claimed it. "Now there we go, home sweet home. I think now we can go have some fun hunting some weaklings!" For just a split second, Seasrai thought about taking off into the woods without those two, escape now while she had the chance. But she decided against it. There was no way she'd let on that she would eventually kill them, though they all knew it would come down to the three of them. Unless she did something about it. "We need to find water. That's out first goal and there is no water in all of this heat...plus I don't like the fact that it's in a volcano that can erupt any second. What do you guys think?"

Why do you even bother? Reko glanced out toward the starting rain, a scowl crossing his face. "Well... it seems they like their weather features.." He said quietly, moving further inside than before. "Well, at least there is cool stuff in here to bother with." He commented, holding tightly to his sword as he found himself further in the shelter of the cornucopia. Looking through the offerings that the Gamemakers had left for his little crew, his face held a smirk. There was food and water at the least, and multiple weapons. Though his gaze lifted to Seasari and the smile remained.
"I've been looking forward to a good hunt for so long." He commented, grabbing up a couple of containers of food and water. "And there's some water here and well, it's raining a bit if you want to drink from the sky." He commented with a teasing bit of a smirk toward her. He put the things in his bag, looking briefly at what he had grabbed. He was more worried on weapons and being hungry than anything else. But he did take out the empty canteen in the bag, figuring he might as well actually take his joke seriously. There was water here but, there was more than just him. He wasn't wanting to fight over water, they'd have to split evenly. So while it was raining he still set it outside before he returned to looking through the rest of the items. He picked up one of the packages of food, already feeling hungry. Killing other kids made Reko hungry that was for sure.
He sat himself down against one of the containers, eating a bit. "At least they love us and provided stuff, eh?" He smirked, eating a bit of the provided fruit with a smile. Though he looked and reached out, grabbing one of the actual stabbing knives. He looked at it and shrugged. Wouldn't hurt to have something smaller. Just in case that sword happened to fall out of his grasp. Or in this case, for cutting up a very delicious apple to smaller pieces to eat. He looked to the other two and gave a bigger smile as the sound of the rain on the metal cornucopia died down. "Now we should go." He said, getting up and grabbing his bag, stuffing the last piece of fruit in his mouth. He'd wanted to make her wait, so he wasn't following her. The last thing he wanted was to follow a girl.
"Let's go hunt some little brats before they decide to erupt the place. Sitting here is going to bore them. And me. I'm bored. Let's go." He commented, giving a wink to the two girls. He wished there were other careers to have joined them. Being the one guy, and a group of three, it was a bit nerve wracking for sure. He held his sword, but picked up his rain collecting canteen on the way out and drank some of the water. At least the rainwater wasn't too warm, unlike the air. "I won't miss the heat though." He commented before he started across one of the bridges to head his way out of the boiling hot area.

I sleep in the warmth of a thick liquid blanket. There is nothing but the liquid all around me. I think it is magma. Sometimes it is dark. Sometimes it has an orange, yellow tinge to it. From time to time I hear rumbling, as if an earthquake is about to happen. And the magma seems to be unsettled. Above me are metal bars that seem to withstand even the magma's hot temperature. Past the metal bars is just more magma. But I see something far above it, a dark circle, suspended in air by lines. Twelve lines. How long have I been here? Where am I? What. Am. I? I swim around, my tail follows me. I have a tail. A long one. My claws... Claws I've never had before are sharp. But they aren't sharp enough to dig through the hard packed dirt that surrounds me. I was something else once. I think. Something softer. More tender. More vulnerable. What was I? I can't remember. And then.... The bars move. And the top opens. I breathe... or swallow the magma. I'm not sure if I'm breathing air. It seems like I don't even need to. I swim towards the top with my arms and my tail. I have no legs. Just this odd. Hard. Body. And as I reach the surface, I burst through. It's as if I am seeing the world for the first time, again. And it is familiar to me. Almost. But there is a sky. And that's enough to motivate me to climb. I swim to the wall, my claws digging into the dirt, allowing me to climb higher and higher. Then I reach the top. The dark circle isn't so big, and it's not a circle like I expected. It's... It's... It looks familiar. Like something I've seen before, in a dream. I push my hands against the wall and launch myself towards it. This oddly shaped metal thing. And there are... People. Yes. They are people. Two of them. I call out to them. But my voice is not my voice. It is this loud booming, grating, and wailing noise. Like a bear being tortured. "Help!" I call out. But it does not sound like help. It is a roar. I must look a fright, to these tiny people. I am so much bigger. I am made of something hard. Something they can't penetrate with the weapons they weild. I feel. I am. Indestructible. And then something moves inside my head. Fear. Fear. HUMANS! Something pulls my mind Making me fear them Making me hate them And I bare my teeth As I begin to give chase. "KILL!"
*note: this mutt is indestructible. It can only live in the volcano and other similar places such as magma. But can go no further.* Tribute may run as far as the forest.

Trib sitting for Reko.
Reko had no sooner stopped towards one of the metal bridges when something from beneath then started to rumble. He heard a slight scraping coming from beneath them, like something closing. .. or perhaps opening. Then something rattled and he could hear it. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. As if something was climbing is way out of the pit of the volcano. Reko only had to look down to confirm his suspicion. He was normally a fearless person, but the sight of something large climbing up made him shake. It was... a demon. For the lack of a better word. It wore the molten lava like a cape and is eyes red as blood. It roared at them, the sound alone was enough to shake the bridges and the Cornucopia with it. Reko's legs were frozen in place. Should he run? Yes. The demon creature was twice the size of the Cornucopia. There was no way that his sword could ever hope to penetrate the seemingly thick skin of the demon. He couldn't even tell if the creatures skin was skin or a shell or some sort of hard sediment. No doubt his sword looked like a toothpick to the creature, a toothpick which it would use to pick out the remains of Rekos flesh from its teeth once he'd have him for lunch.
"RUN!" he yelled at everyone, but more so as a command for otherwise paralyzed body to move.

Why do you even bother? It had been as he was walking away and enjoying another apple that the demon mutt had risen from the hot magma below with such force, it had frozen the brave young man in his place. His grip tightened on his sword but that wouldn't be enough. He dropped his almost finished piece of fruit to the metal bridge with a light thud, the apple rolling away off the edge without his notice or care. It couldn't be enough. Staring, wide eyed, he almost could have been caught and killed by the massive creature right there. But there were his allies, making a run for it just as well. The shaken teenager broke out of it, and as he yelled he still couldn't follow his own advice. Not until he saw one of the females try and push past him. That was enough to pull him out of it, and the young man lunged forward with his sword, swiping at her legs hard enough to topple her forward. The startled yell was almost music to his ears, was there not a giant monster running right toward them. The other female ran past without even looking back, and as the first tried to get back up Reko stabbed his sword into her stomach, quickly pulling away again and pushing her right toward the coming mutt with a determined look to his face. Her pained scream as she stumbled backward and grabbed for the wound brought a sick smile to Reko's face. "Lunch time." He smirked toward the mutt before his better judgement got to him. He couldn't stick around to watch the mutt find it's easy meal, no, he had to run. That was the point of feeding it his ally, to get him further away.
Finally his legs chose to move, running across the bridge in the biggest hurry of his life. Faster than he had run for supplies during the bloodbath, and faster than he'd taken off in training. There was no way he was sticking around the unkillable beast. Not even to listen further in pride at the pained yells. No the boy from Two had places to be, like safety. His remaining ally, who he had separate plans for, was far ahead of him already. It was because of him she was safe, they would have all been eaten had he not been acting fast. But that wouldn't last long... the festering thoughts in his mind were becoming more and more complex. More angry as they went. Things he saw being put together, the puzzle coming to completion. Even if some of the pieces were drawn in rather than true facts or reality. The stillness of the last couple of days was getting to him. He had become restless and blood thirsty. That mutt may have made him run, but that one kill just wasn't good enough... he needed more.
