Brayden A. Savage, the third of his name, comes from a strong lineage of fighters. His ancestors fought in underground fighting rings, were soldiers in wars, and trained in many different forms of fighting. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately (that is yet to be determined), Brayden wasn't like the rest of his family. By the time Brayden was 1, he could speak. By the time he was 2, he could form proper sentences and read basic words. However, he didn't learn how to walk until he was almost 3. His legs always wobbled and looked jellyfish-like when he tried to walk. His parents started calling him Jellyfish for that reason, along with the fact that they noticed their son was kind of a wimp. But of course they still loved him more than anything in the world. Brayden is the oldest of two children, with a younger sister. Kids often found him odd and that's why it was difficult for him to make friends. He was able to make one friend though, Olivia Glass . One really great friend was better than having many friends who didn't really understand him, so he was overall happy with life.
When war broke out, Brayden was 7. By then he was a certified genius. The Capitol wanted to bring him to The Capitol in order to keep him safe, but his parents insisted he stay with his family for the time being. His family fought with The Capitol during the war, most of them getting drafted into it though some volunteered. Brayden was kept out of the fighting, often times going underground when fights happened in the district. During this time, he learned all he could about everything. He read books, watched documentaries, spoke to scientists that were still in District 4. Life for Brayden went on as normally as it possibly could. A few times a year, he was invited to go to The Capitol to receive further education and learn from The Capitol's most brilliant minds. Usually it was only a few months, but Brayden learned a lot during those few months before going back home to District 4. Towards the end of the war, though, Brayden left for The Capitol and stayed gone for over a year. By the time he came back, the war was about to be won by The Capitol.
After the war, Brayden was invited to live in The Capitol and work as one of their research scientists. Brayden turned it down, asking to instead remain in District 4 and work from there. He was granted this and given funding.
