Ashley Apratis Rosehill
NICKNAMES: Ash AGE: 29 GENDER: Male RESIDENCE: District 4 OCCUPATION: Peacekeeper SPECIAL INFO: War hero. FACE CLAIM: Jason Momoa PLAYER ALIAS: Salsa
Ashley is a gentle soul, despite his jacked appearance and aggressive body language. His little sister likes to call him a gentle giant. Growing up, Ash liked to fish, which was good considering where he lived would become District 4. He found the hobby immensely calming. He found that his mind was always on the go and he needed things to help him quiet it, even for a minute.
Ash was protective. He was willing to do anything to protect his family, even go to war without a second thought. War would destroy him, however. With his mind already so fragile, going to war was the trigger it seemed to need to completely shut down. Despite his impressive kills and strategy that would get him extremely well known (some would say famous), he ended up with extreme PTSD. He lashed out at family and friends and tended to withdraw. His outbursts would make him feel guilty and he wouldn't want to be around anyone in fear that he would hurt them.
It wasn't to say that he was always sulky and down. On the contrary, when he was distracted from his thoughts, he tended to be funny and enjoy drinking beer with his friends. This lifestyle was what he needed, but the alcohol tended to make him become depressed when everyone was out of sight. It wasn't that Ash became needy, but he wanted to always be away from home, an apartment that was lacking in furniture or anything that showed that a human actually called it home at all.
Before war, Ash had enjoyed a long term relationship, which fell apart when he left. He was ready to propose to her, but after the war he couldn't look her in the eye. He couldn't open up to her anymore. She ended up leaving him, and for that, he couldn't blame her. He still longed for her, but he couldn't bring himself to reach out when he saw her. He tended to simply avert his eyes and be polite. In some ways, she now felt like a stranger.
Ash's success made him a good Peacekeeper, but one that was lenient about rules. He was too empathetic to make everyone be punished for arbitrary rules. His presence, however, tended to be enough.
