On my own, pretending he's beside me. All alone, I walk with him 'till morning. Raya finally reached the beach as the moon dimmed high over her head. It was a beautiful sight--the waves rippled slightly, the moon reflected over the large body of water, and other than the light rain hitting the ocean, it was dead quiet. The girl usually hated silence, but it was peaceful to her now. The drums had settled down in her mind, but she was hungry and really thirsty. Walking over to the beach, she took her backpack off and got out her canteen. She scooped the water into her canteen and drank it fast. Dehydration was upon her, but she could feel her body getting stronger with the cold water in her system. Her chapped lips began to feel more moisturized. Harrison would have loved it here...no. She couldn't think about that. They were going to reunite again, she knew it. They had to for her sake. It wasn't wrong to leave him and she knew that. She had to be alone or with someone rather than Harrison. She loved him, but she had to let him go. He wasn't going to protect her because then he would die. That was why she had to leave. Not just for her sake, but for his as well. The girl filled up her canteen once again and screwed the lid on. She went through all of her things, using the moon as light to see what she had. There was a fishing rod, and maybe she would use it to get something to eat. Sitting on the beach, she didn't really know how to work it except for putting the hook in the water. She pressed a button and it let the line out. She threw it far, and she held it up, waiting for a stupid fish to catch the hook. The girl was still shivering, but it was dimmed down now that she had water. Unfortunately, the girl didn't trust the rain water to drink, so filling up the canteen with ocean water was a better plan since she felt that everyone would be drinking the rain water. The beach seemed empty for the most part. She didn't hear any other tributes lurking about, but she kept her whip to the side just in case someone wanted to attack her from behind. Raya was at peace with herself, and the light breeze brushed against her cold skin. Maybe she would be able to sleep tonight despite the nightmares that follow her. She looked out towards the ocean, waiting for something to bite her line but knowing that it would most likely fail. Fishing Success or Fail: 6dqTwAGt1skill

All Raya did that day was walk around, thinking about what she was going to do for the upcoming days. She knew that, since she had only heard one cannon, that there would be a couple deaths on the next day. But Raya had to keep on living. She needed to hold on to whats she had and the lack thereof, scared that the gamemakers would punish her and her child during the games. She had several withdraw symptoms from the morphling, causing her to talk herself out of the cold and clammy feeling her body gave her. Maybe she was entertaining the crowd with her slight craziness and her being still alive, but she practiced with her whip and tried to catch some fish.
Before the girl knew it, night grew over again and there she sat at the edge of the beach. Raya started singing alone the words to a song her mother taught her as a child. She had a beautiful singing voice, she had heard from several different people, but she really didn't think anything of it. After all, singing wasn't going to get you through the games.
She had wondered about Harrison and Cameron, hoping that the two teamed up and benefited from each other. They were both so kind and protective that they were bound to be friends. Raya hoped that the cannon wasn't one of them, because if it was, she would not be able to forgive herself. The dark-haired tribute fished into the water, taking a sip of her canteen and putting her toes in the grainy sand. The girl castes her fishing line again, hoping to catch a fish that would fill her up.

If successful: she eats the fish. If unsuccessful: she eats the meal Siri gave her.

She held her stomach and closed her eyes. She had taken short naps throughout the day, but she could feel sleep glazing over her eyes and her exhausted body. Maybe just a short nap, she told herself. But people might have gotten bored with Raya Stardust, and she didn't want anything to trap or kill her. But a nap wouldn't do anything, as long as she woke up. Her eyelids fell, covering her eyes. She was so close to sleep, but a scream had filled her ears. It was screaming her name. Her eyes bolted ope. Harrison. Picking up all of her things, she was glad that she had a canteen full of water. Hurriedly, she ran towards the beach, leaving the sand in her toes and the serene landscape that she knew as the beach. The sand in her toes were no more, and the floppy fish were gone. But what Raya didn't know is that she left her fishing pole. Ran off without it, and it is now sitting at the beach.
