Okay guys! I'm hoping Harrison doesn't get jumped because tbh I want some character development before he dies. Its basically eight posts that will all make sense once you read them all. I'll have a few up by tonight but they'll be done by 12/17 so be patient and don't jump me plz :c
We're only getting older baby
And I’ve been thinking about you lately
His last steps through the forest seemed painless, but the pain was surely going to bite him in the butt afterwards. He ran around of the forest and onto some kind of sandy beach, water right nearby. Still smelling flames, he ran towards the water to cool himself off, and perhaps get all the fire on his suit off of him. Harrison Martial got out of the dreaded fire alive, and he couldn't be happier. He didn't get out just by perseverance, but rather Raya Stardust, who guided him the right way to the water. She promised him water as he was running, and now being in it brought both relief and pain. The fire was completely gone and off of his body, but the burns he felt from the run were deeper and hurt even more. His fear of touching it was high as he didn't want to hurt himself even more. Raya would guide him through this ordeal he now had to face. He dunked himself under the water, trying to get his whole head wet too. The ashes brushed off of him when he was under the water, but when he opened his eyes he could see them scattered throughout the water. Mr. Martial could see the flames ahead of him in the forest, and feared for his life if fire could go into water. Thankfully it didn't because if it did, Harrison would be dead as a child.
**FLASHBACK TO CHILDHOOD**
Harrison skipped around on his way home from school, passing through the streets. There were many other boys and girls his age running and screaming along with him, but only few he knew. There was a girl who called herself Raya, but Harrison stayed away from girls. They had total koodies! From what all the other boys in school told him, they were gross and you stayed away from them. Bane told him that they were nice, and thought the same of boys. Harrison didn't believe Bane for one second! "But Bane! Girls are weird and their screaming hurts my ears! How can you say they are like us?" he pouted as his oldest brother walked him away from all his friends. Harrison waved goodbye with a smile, just as he always did. He loved always going back to school and singing the "Tomorrow" song with all his friends.
"Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I'll see you, tomorrow! Its only a day away!"
He never broke that promise to his friends, just as they never did. Nobody missed school in District Eight, especially when the Peace Keepers came to make a census count for the day.
"Yonas!" Harrison screamed out to a boy, his best friend Yonas, who was trying to act cool around all the.. girls! "What are you doing?" he questioned with anger, just as all eight year olds did. He said that Raya was a really nice girl, and that he should be friends with her, too. Harrison shook his head and laughed. "They have koodies, and so do you!" the Martial boy laughed at his friend, who started to look upset.

Harrison remembered his school years perfectly, but he didn't remember that Raya was in his class, and that Yonas was the one who befriended her then.. no. He felt disgrace that he was so rude to her and Yonas, they did nothing to him. Why was he acting that way. Suddenly, the burn pierced him, directly in the leg. The pain was hard enough for Harrison so squeal, but it was thankfully quiet enough so that nobody heard. He waited for something from the sponsors who saved his life before to do it again. Mr. Martial listened for the beep noise, and looked up to see a box with some kind of parachute fly down, but nothing. Did they stop caring about him? Did they lose faith in the boy who seemed so promising before? Maybe they cared when Raya was alive, but she's dead. Did they only care because his heart was so big and tender, but now it was too much? Was he going too hard on sobbing, and instead he should act like a man? A kid, was that all they thought of him?
Harrison waited for Raya to lend out words of encouragement, but all he heard was silence. Did she abandon me too? he thought, still searching for some kind of parachute and listen for a buzz to signal a sponsoring. Maybe she gave up, too. He did seem pretty reliant on Raya's thoughts, but they could be all in his head. Now, when he needed her most, she was gone and away forever, maybe for longer than that. He might go to a totally different place in comparison to her. She must have had to go to her place, but only had a little time to talk before she had to leave forever. If she left forever, then why even bother living? She won't mind if he's dead now that they'll never speak again, perhaps never even see each other.
"Raya?" he called out in a flat voice, hoping to hear a response. But not to his surprise there was silence. It was doubtful he'd hear her name again, or her wonderful voice. He could still hear her scream "Harrison!" The words bounced off his brain, perhaps to tell it to do anything possible to find the memories of her in the files of his life. Just as he remembered when he was in school, and when he said that girls had koodies. He was talking about her, and if there was one thing he could change, it would have to be that.
