Personality Bellona had always been a cheerful, happy child. Her grandparents had been very keen on making sure that she didn't miss out on anything and especially not the fact that her actual parents weren't there. She'd grown up to have anything she could ever want, a very spoiled child indeed.
She's very positive and happy, always seen with a smile on her face. Growing up in a political family, emphasis had always been on being polite and well mannered. Bellona was polite and well mannered but only in those circles. Not to mention that after everything happened with Damian, she'd become less positive and happy but still not to the point of becoming someone she was not.
She has a bit of a mouth on her, with wittiness and sarcasm having become her way to cope and keep people at a distance but at the same time, making sure that it wasn't done in a rude way.
Bellona was born in the Capitol. Her mother died during delivery and she never got to know who her father was, he was never around. So Bell grew up with her grandparents who happened to be one of the wealthiest families in all of Panem. When the war began, she felt the shift in her grandparents behavior, how they became more careful and their constant worry. One day, her grandmother's heart stopped and there hadn't been anything for the doctors to do. Lorna had passed away when Bell was 15. Three years after that, her grandfather had gotten very ill and soon enough, he too died.
After her grandparents' death, Bellona had been alone and grieving. She'd met a guy and fell madly in love. Everything had been perfect. After three years, when she was 21, she fell out of love and wanted to leave him and that's where things got ugly. Damian became aggressive, hurt her physically and when she moved back into her grandparent's place, he began to stalk her. For months her whole life had circulated around fear. Fear of seeing him on the street, at the president's mansion, fear of life itself. The worst part was that she couldn't talk to anyone about it because to the Capitol he was perfect. He was the man men strived to be like and above all, he was one of the very elite. So Bell had been left with no choice but to tell her uncle about it. Her great-uncle President Ash. She'd kept it to herself for some time, even when he'd asked what was wrong but the time came when she couldn't keep quiet. With Damian's high status, there'd been no other choice but to transfer Bellona, for her own safety.
President Ash was her grandmother's brother, and he'd been a part of their family for a long time. When both her grandparent's were dead, he was her only family left. At first, the thought of moving away from the Capitol had been unimaginable. But then Damian became worse and both her and Ash knew that the court would never convict him. So the only thing left was to move Bellona and no one knew where but the president himself. Her move to district 2 had been more liberating than she could've ever imagined. She was finally able to go outside without being afraid or stay at home without having to be afraid of Damian being outside of her house. Bell loved district 2 but she still found herself missing the Capitol.
