His stylist didn't really understand district four very well but tried her best with a swimsuit. Jack admitted he did look good in it. It showed off his muscles to the crowd which they will love. The horses in front of the chariot were a deep blue like the ocean and his blue swimsuit matched nicely with it. He got into the chariot and nodded at Demetria in a hello. He didn't know her very well. He looked around at the other chariots. His eyes widened and he was about to laugh as he saw what the district eight girl was wearing. He stifled the laughter and then looked ahead as the gates started to open and the horses started to pull the chariot. The chariot went at a good speed, not to fast and not to slow. He looked out upon the huge crowd and he waved slowly and tried to give the most seductive grin he could at the crowd. It was very loud. The chariots started to make their way around the circle and slowly stopped in front of the president's speaking place. Jack looked up waiting for the famous speech the president gave at the beginning of each games. ______ OOC: you will see the d8 costume soon enough! I am D8F!

"Good Evening Ladies and Gentlmen! Welcome to the beginnings of the 73rd Hunger Games. The Reapings have happened and its our first look at the tributes together for this year!" Caesar's voice boomed over the speakers on the tributes parade trail. He was broadcasting live from the parade up in his booth above everyone else. This was the life he had come to know and love and he's be doing it til the day he died. The music had started but the doors had not opened yet. It took a few more moments for the cue to be given. He smiled once it was finally give. It was show time for the tributes.
He personally couldn't wait to see how they dressed the younger tributes this year. The older ones always seemed to have a seductive glow to them. The younger were a different story.
"And here they come. District one is on their way out. Let's see who's stylist out did themselves this year!"
The chariots began their slow canter to the presidents box high above the crowd.

Dante wasn't really a fan of other's dressing him but , he didn't say much about it. Even if he didn't get why they thought the tributes were helpless in dressing themselves. He was glad to see that their outfits were actually pretty cool. Although he didn't like that they had messed with his hair. If he had his attack cat with him he would of surely had the cat attack the hair stylist. But , the cat was back home with his brother. After the stylist finished the were escorted to black horse drawn chariots. Dante wrinkled his nose a bit at the loud voices of the crowd. When instructed he got into the chariot with his district mate surely in toe. Soon the were on there way down the long street. District one was always the first ones that crowd saw coming down the path. Figuring it was a good idea because , you wanted the audience to remember you he needed to do something. Just standing there wasn't going to get you anywhere. So, the young brunette deiced to milk it as much as he could. He was good at playing fake for the most part. To start with the light hair male blew a kiss to each side of the audience. Then he began waving to them all with a pleasant smile of pride on his face. [ ooc: let me know if this sounds godmodding i hopes not XD . OUTFIT ]

Lex looked at himself in the mirror. "Are you serious!?" he turned to his stylist. "This is what you're making me wear out there? I look like a weirdo! I look like a freak!" Lex tried to take off the ridiculous mask, but couldn't. Struggling with the mask, he pulled and pulled as he stumbled all around the room. The stylist gasping as Effie started to yell at him once more. Finally giving up, he turned to Haymitch. "I don't understand why we have to parade around in these ridiculous outfits!" he said and then turned to Effie, pointing at her, "I look even more stupid than peacock feathers over there!" Effie made a gasping noise as she gave him an angry stare. "You're a piece of coal, you're supposed to be dark and black." Someone said to him. "I'd rather go out in my underwear..." Lex said and then heard people around the room laughing. He looked at the other tributes from other districts. They looked great, so why did he have to look like an idiot? "Look, District 4 is wearing his underwear!""It's not underwear, it's a swim suit." His stylist said. "You are blind," Lex said plainly. Lex sighed, and collapsed on a chair, giving up. Obviously his stylist wasn't going to help him out of the ridiculous get-up and Haymitch could care less. Effie was too distraught about his 'bad manners'. Well it seemed that Lex finally got what he wanted, he wanted to see what it would be like to live like someone else. Not exactly how he had hoped for it to happen, but be careful what you wish for. Lex heard a pair of heels enter the room, looking up he saw Sam (@samanthaelainecolton). Even though the mask covered up most of his face, he was still able to see her clear as day. His mouth dropped, and he didn't care, no one could really see into his mask anyways. Eyes widening, a smile appeared on his face. He might look like an idiot, but Samantha Colton did not. She was beautiful. The most beautiful he had ever seen her. The most beautiful girl in the world. Lex walked up to her, speechless. "You look.... amazing," he said. Then turning to his stylist, "Now why couldn't you make me look like her? I look like I just came out of a freak show and she looks...." Lex turned back to Sam. "Stunning." As they were helped into their chariots, Lex couldn't take his eyes off Sam. But once the horses began to move, he hung on to the side of the chariot, not wanting to embarrass himself by falling off. As they horses pulled them out, Lex looked up in awe. There were people on all sides of them. On the left and on the right, hundreds and hundreds of people cheered. They rows of people went on for what looked like a quarter of a mile. The stretch of road that they were on was so long that the people at the end of it looked like little dots. The other carriages from other Districts were in front of them, and they were last. Lex looked up at the crowd, a smile appearing on his face. He wish he didn't have a stupid mask on, they could barely see his face. With a smile, he waved at the crowd. "Sam! There's so many people. They're all cheering!" he waved at all of them. The more he waved, the more flowers people threw towards them.

Sahalie sat there trying to be a still as possible as people poked and prodded for what seemed like hours until they were sure she was sufficiently clean enough to be ushered off to her stylist. She looked at her stylist with a kind of worried expression. She's seen the tributes parades before and she was praying she wasn't going to look like some weirdo. She looked at the dress that was sitting there and then back up at her stylist. She took a deep breath hoping against all hope that she would look good in what they put her in. The dress was pulled over her head and she looked at herself in the mirror in the room for a moment. She looked so grown up in this dress. She knew it was supposed to be strapless but they had added tiny little clear straps for her. It made it easier for her dress to stay up. She twirled around in in for a moment watching they gown flow around her. It reminded her of the wind almost. The fabrics were soft and light and she couldn't stop smiling. She wasn't sure blue looked all that good on her but it would have to do for now.
Next came her hair which they left flow free with flowing ringlets. A tiara was placed on top of her head. They were making her look like a princess of some sort. She honestly thought blue was the color for district four but she defiantly looked good. The sequins on the front of her dress were something else and it seemed like there was something hidden there. Even the tiara seemed to be speaking power to her as well. Suns was what the little diamonds were making. Solar power if she could say that. The dress was wind power as the wind was either white or blue. They were trying to make her feel like she was at home as well. She waited patiently for them to be done with her. The makeup to her was a bit much. Still she did the best that she could to allow what was happening to happen.
Next thing she knew she was being shown over to a carriage decked out in district five attire as well. The horses bridles and the hook ups were orange and yellow. The seats were and off shade of white but the rest was black. She added the blue into the mix of it. She looked over at her district partner who was in white with little hints of blue. She smiled at him as he kissed her forehead. The horses started their canter and she took a deep breath. She was shaking just a little bit and as they got out of the gate she could hear the crowd and her hand tightened around the boys. He gave her a small nod and then lifted his hand to wave at the crowd. She plastered on a smile and suddenly remember something her stylist had told her. She tapped a switch on the cart itself and everything lit up.
They horses and their harnesses glowing orange and yellow. The two of them, what she had thought were sequins were actually little lights and they were shinning through the colors. At first white, orange, yellow, blue and then back to white. Her tiara light up into a muted yellow that fit with everything else. They were in all their glory. As district five was represented by all the forms of power you could possibly think off.Her outfither token

Matching with Dante♥
They were the first to go. Dante and Jade. Jade, although not the nicest person in the 73rd Hunger Games, she was for sure one of the prettiest. They had to have at least a little bit of matching in order to actually make an impression. Her stylist told her to smile, wave, and make them love you even more. She did so, just as they asked. Five.. four.. three.. two.. one! Now the horses and chariots started moving. Now, it was time to make the impression. The first were always the best. Even if 'first is the worst'. Jade was about to wave, but she didn't. Her district partner blew kisses to the crowd. It was kind of awkward, but she went with it. Just a little bit more. "So yeah.. this is gonna be a bit awkward..". She spoke, holding her hand. Jade swung back and forth with it. She smiled, then waved with the open hand. She was going to have fun in the Hunger Games, whether she had to team with losers or winners.

Outfit: partycity2.scene7.com/is/image/PartyCity/P485298?wid=600&hei=600Serena walked to her chariot. Her fairy who was very nice seemed to like her and gave her dress from one of Serena's favorite fairytales. Little Red Riding Hood. Serena had told her how much she liked stories and the fairy actually listened. Then the fairy made her a beautiful dress. It seemed to be made out of brownie cloth. It was so soft, nothing like anything she made in her district. Everything she made back home seemed more course and not as near as fine. It was like wearing a queen's dress. Serena got into her carriage then. She didn't know what was going on really but she hoped the carriage was going to take her to a ball or something. One of the horses was bright pink and another was dark black. There were some other people who looked really scary or weird. There was someone entirely in their underwear, and there was someone else who seemed to be in a pitch black demon costume all the way in the back row of carriages. As Serena rode in she looked around. A ton of dolls and fairies and pixies and brownies yelled happily and waved down at her. Maybe this place wasn't so bad after all!

Bryce sighed once the capitolites were done washing and pruning him it seemed. They smiled at each other and sent him on his way to his sytlist. She was a pretty female but definatly a capitolite. She at least wasn't wearing any of the strange headresses or strange colored hair. It was a bright natural looking red. They type of red he'd seen on some girls back at home. He clothing was the only thing that gave her away really. He smiled at her as she explained to him why all of this was happening. It was her second year as district nine's stylist so she was going to go with simple rather than over done craziness. District nine were hard working simply people or at least that's what this stylist thought and it made Bryce happy that he wasn't going to be in some strange outfit. Then again anything the capitol put him in would be extremely strange. Kacki of the softest kind was handed to him as well as cotton that did not feel course by any means. Everything was smooth to the touch and Bryce couldn't believe how light the fabrics felt. This was so strange. He looked over a Lisa. "Miss Lisa are you sure this won't snag and rip. I mean I know I'm just gonna be standing but still." Lisa laughed at him. "No dear boy it'll be fine." He shrugged his shoulder as she led him out of the room and to the chariots. There were little pieces of wheat around the horses harness. "Good Luck and break a leg dear Smile its all you need to do." Lisa backed away and the horses started to move. Bryce looked over at his district partner who was dressed in a light blue and white dress it looked like. She had wheat in a crown around her head and it made her look like a princess of their district. He smiled at her as they made it to the entrance. He took her hand and then plastered a smile onto his face and began to wave to the crowd. It took her a moment but she started to do the same thing. She even blew a few kisses. District nine was trying to make the sponsors remember them. If they had the sponsors they could possibly make it further. his outfit

"You have to be kidding me." Torr had already made a bad appearance to the Capitol. Arram probably told them about this 'bad boy' and what he did. They probably didn't like him. But, after two or three hours of surgery, he now had a a metallic brace on his bad leg. If you looked closely, you could see it, but it was under his pants. That is, if he wore them. And in this case, Torr, like plenty of other male tributes, didn't wear pants. They didn't wear shorts. All they had, was underwear. They might as well also give him a sign that said 'Uncaged Beast'. Torr shook his head, just about to lash out on someone. The girl was his District, then 'Serena' girl.. was having so much fun. She spoke of fairytales nonstop. He didn't really like the girl, but that was because he didn't really get to know her. Torr looked up, waiting to see what was next for him to wear. His stylist person, who was too peppy, was pushing him over to the chariot. "Oh my god. Are you saying I have to walk out there like I'm sleeping? Except I'm not." Torr was now getting pushed onto the chariot, along with his District Partner. "You seem to be havin' fun." He limped onto the chariot. Putting pressure on his bad leg gave him a lot of pain, so he tried hopping on there. Now, the boy was starting to move. All he had to do was smile and wave. But no. He was a rebel, even at times like this. Torr had an agitated look on his face as people looked and cheered. He was the only one not cheering. Torr in undies.....

You're always holding onto stars. I think they're better from afar 'cause no one is gonna to save us. Ambrosia had no idea what to expect. Well, she expected to be uncomfortable and tampered with, but she didn't know what to expect when she exposed herself to the crowd. It seemed intimidating, like there were a million people in the crowd--or from what she saw on the television at least. The prep team, as they called themselves, had bathed, combed, shaved, scrubbed, and wiped every single part of her body. The girl, being from District 10, was always dirty. She had dirty fingernails, gritty hair, and dry skin, but frankly, she never cared about any of that. She was dressed to work out in a field all day and milk cows all while small dirt storms would brew up and get her dirty. Yes, she cleaned herself up every day with a pale of water and a scrubber, but she never did it to the point that all of the filth would just wipe away. She never had time for that anyways, and when they had cleaned her up for the parade, she felt and looked like a completely different person. Though the outfit was uncomfortable and the shoes were dreadful, she actually saw what she looked like when she wasn't covered in any sort of substance or smelled like cow. The red-haired girl was actually quite pretty, an attractiveness that she had never gotten to see before. She knew the games were wicked and they harmed every single person in the districts, but she couldn't help but feel happy right now. They had transformed her into something she never thought she could be. Her looks were vibrant and her skin even paler than what she had thought. But it was nice to see her somewhat beautiful even though she hated the whole process of it.
Her stylist yelled at her to hurry up, and she nodded. Now was the time to seize the day and take everything she had and put it forward. This would be one of the only chances to impress the judges and sponsors watching her, and though she was playing the weak card, she needed to look hopeful. With a small smile on her face, she knew that she looked pretty. She never had before this, and though it might not be pretty to some, it was beautiful to the girl who protected. She felt like she could fly if the feathers were real, as the dress was light on her body and she just felt lightweight. The shoes were a pain, but she could deal with those at least. Ambrosia had gotten on to the chariot without a word from her district partner, who seemed extremely depressed in the whole situation. She shrugged and waited anxiously, looking over at some of the other tributes. They all looked magnificent to her. When the gates opened and let the first chariots out, Ambrosia waited. She waited to see the people and the lights and the cameras. Biting her bright red lip, the chariot started to finally move slightly. When it did and she came out onto the street, she was amazingly stricken.
Ambrosia was in awe. She looked at the whole place with her jaw dropped and an amazed smile. Her eyes was glistened with happiness and hope. She closed her eyes, feeling the wind on her face and her dress. Having an idea, the red-haired girl took out the pins holding up her hair and let it flow against the wind. She smiled brightly and finally opened her eyes. She waved and blushed. This was her moment--the moment where she would feel free. Even if it only lasted for less then a minute, it was her time to feel something other than guilt or protectiveness. She just wanted to feel happy for once, and she hoped that her brother was watching this right now, seeing how happy his sister is at the moment. The girl from District 10, who seemed so uptight about protecting her brother, had let loose. Maybe it was just this one time, but it was something. She wondered if the people of the Capitol could see the look of joy and hope on her face, and saw her vibrant orange hair flow in the wind. She could feel the energy around her as she blew a kiss with joy and gave a little wink. Maybe if she thought she was pretty this once, then maybe there was a slight chance that they thought she would possess some sort of physical attraction towards her too.

Her OutfitHer Hairstyle and Color
Maggie rolled her eyes at her Stylist, wanting to just get this over with. She wanted to stop playing let's dress up the badass b*tch from 2 and start with the training. But no, before they could even see their rooms or the training rooms; all the Tributes had to go on some fancy horse drawn carriage ride to show off. "Come on, let's just go. I can dress myself you know! You know what, just get out of my way." Maggs shoved all of her stylist team away. She ignored her Stylist's tsk tsk and "Well I never." and continued to dress herself. They all acted like she had never worn anything like this before. Maggie finished dressing and looked at herself, grinned and nodded as if pleased with her costume. "Now this is more like it." Her hair was already done and the complete outfit really did make her seem badass, like she could take on the world and have no trouble.
The other Tributes had no idea how true that was. Maggie had trained her entire life for the moment when she volunteered for the Hunger Games. She was ready physically, emotionally, and mentally. Nothing was going to stand in her way. Not even water when it came right down to it. Maggs followed her team to where her partner was already waiting by the horse drawn carriages. He looked pretty badass too but nothing like she did. Maggie had seen this boy train for a few years but already thought he was a coward. His name had been picked because none of the boys had enough guts to volunteer. Losers.
With absolute confidence, Maggie got onto the carriage, not even bothering to say hi to her partner. He was going to die soon anyway, if not by her own hand then by another Careers. He was such a whimp and was a disgrace to all of District 2. When they both were on board, the horses started walking into place. Maggie looked at District 1's outfits and thought they were alright. They had on too much fabric and showed off too much of their luxury. This wasn't a la-de-da game, this was a killing other kids in cold-blood game. Maggie looked back at some more of the District outfits and rolled her eyes. Then she saw 12's outfit's and one of her eyebrow's arched up in surprise. "Well, well, well, look who's come to play. Let's hope they fight as good as they are dressed."
Maggie held onto the carriage with one hand as the horses started forward. Being in 2 had it's perks as the crowd erupted into cheers and whoops. There was so much noise that she couldn't hear what Cesaer was saying over the intercom at all. Maggie did not smile and wave like everyone else was doing. Like her idiotic partner was doing, no she meant business. She was dressed badass, she was badass so why try to be anything different. Once they all saw her score, the Sponser's would flock to her anyway. If she even needed their help. Career's rarely needed help from Sponsers, especially if the Pack started out strong and finished strong. There was no reason as to why they wouldn't this year like every other year before them. This was her time and she was going to let the Capitol and everyone else know it.

Lucas grit his teeth as a woman rubbed something sticky on him and then pulled, his body hair along with it. He tried not to make any noise although, them pulling and prodding at him was making him more irritated than anything else. He wasn't allowed to look at a mirror, but he saw the things they were dressing him in. He was going to be a tree or maybe a leaf. He didn't know, but he felt a little ridiculous being so naked in front of everyone. All he had on at the moment was black boxers. Once they started to wrap him up in his costume, he began to feel slightly better, but not by much since all he was really wearing some a green bottom, brown sandals, some leaves twined around his body and a leaf mask.
Lucas' eyes caught Johanna's, causing him to blush slightly. No one really had ever seen him this naked before and the being this way in front of so many people, especially Johanna made him nervous. Once he was finished, a mirror was set in front of him. Lucas stood up, adjusting the mask slightly so he could see better. Well. It wasn't bad. Whatever they did to him, he thought it made him look more muscular, and even more manly. He hid a smirk when a thought came to his mind. King of the Forest.
Helping the District 7 Tribute girl only the chariot, he followed in and held on to the side of the chariot. The girl wore a matching outfit, except of course hers covered her private part at the top of her chest. He looked down and then up at the crowd as the chariot began to move. Lucas's jaw dropped when he saw how many people were there.
Smile. Wave. Johannas' voice rang in his ears and echoed inside his mind. His arm went up in the air as he waved, smiling at the cheering crowd.

Sam cringed as they pulled at her eyebrows and tore hair off of her legs. She had thought she had remained clean for being a girl in District 12, there were some people that decided it was a waste to get clean at all. She bit down hard on her lip as they pulled another strip of hair off of her leg. "Is this really necessary? 'Cuz it kind of hurts." One of the stylists just shook their head at her. She drew her eyebrows together. "What? It's not an insane question. Can we be done, please?" She dragged out the please like she used to when she was younger. One of the stylists just told her to get up so they could scrub her down again.
She was sick of all this cleaning. Why get them all dressed up and looking nice just so they could never do it again? She thought for a moment while they continued performing torture by cleaning. She thought of when her dad died, Sam's mom had said that she wished they could've given him a better funeral and dressed him up nicely. Maybe this was that, maybe this was the Capitol's way of giving them a good funeral. She shook her head, she needed to stop thinking so much about it all. She had already broken down once, it wasn't going to happen again.
She put her hands up in the air as they slid her dress over her body. Then they grabbed things to put on her head while working on her hair at the same time. "Okay, you guys are seriously good at multi-tasking. I can barely walk and talk at the same time." She shook her head, then got ordered in an instant to stop moving her head. Sam was guided to a mirror so she could see herself. She bit her lip, the dress was something she would never see herself in, but Sam looked at her face. Even she had to admit it looked a little better than it did before. She bit her lip as she struggled to walk in heels. She was given a quick thirty second lesson before they headed towards the other people.
Taking a deep breath she made her way towards Effie, Haymitch and Lex. She held in a goofy smile at Lex's comment and as they made their way to the chariot she looked over at him, "Thanks, but all that changed is that they scrubbed off three layers of my skin, washed my hair and put me in a dress." She rolled her eyes and gave him a smile as she got onto the chariot. She hoped that he couldn't see the small blush that came across her face when he said she looked stunning. She got on the chariot, grabbing Lex's arm for support. Once it started moving she grabbed his arm and the side.
All around her were people from the Capitol, with skin and hair as many colors you could think of. She scrunched her eyebrows together and gave a quick look to Lex. He was smiling and waving, and they seemed to be happy about all of it. Sam decided that it was better to be seen as nice and innocent than angry and confused, so she copied him. She gave an awkward small smile to the crowd and a little wave as they traveled in the chariot. "It's crazy..." She said to Lex, trailing off to look at all the people.
