Area 6 || Ferris Wheel

Sahalie wasn't really sure what to do. Kai and Sean had both promised her they wouldn't forget her. They were being so kind. She wasn't sure why they were being this way. Weren't they supposed to be the ones that killed her and Kitty. Weren't they supposed to relish in the blood and gore that was going on around them. It struck her as odd at how these two were acting. They weren't like what they others had told her careers would be like. The girl from four faught to protect them. She didn't fight to hurt them and she got angry when they others had hurt her. Sahalie had never had someone stick up for her like that. Sean had done the same thing. They weren't like the scary people that the others had told her they would be.

The thirteen year old girl was caught up in realizing that people were actually okay and that there might be something there. It was funny how so close to the end she was thinking about people and not the machines she could hear. Not the machines that she knew oh so well. Machines were like people to her. Being with people was changing her though. She had managed to be with these people for four days now and she hadn't completely lost it. Sure she was shy and didn't speak much and much of one day was left fighting but she had been around people. She had survived it though she was battered and brusied and dying.

A voice in her head pipped up. "See sissy people aren't bad. Its why daddy can lead his group and why he can work with the machines too. Its what mommy loves about him so much. Its why you love him so much. He understands you love for the machines but he tries to get you to see people are good too." Sahalie smiled to herself at the words. She wanted to speak to her sister outlouds because she had conjured up her sister next to them. She didn't do it though. She was likely slightly delirious from the pain that was surging through her body. Though she was going a bit numb now. Her arm hurt really bad and should have not been there by now but she managed they had managed. She looked up as Sean spoke to her again. She hadn't realized she had zoned out so much.

"Okay." She whispered softly as he sat her down. He told her to stay put. He was her elder and since she had been raised to listen to her elders and Sean hadn't exactly stirred her wrong she would listen to him. He said that they had it. She took the machette form Kai and held it close to her as she watched the older two go off into the fray of whatever battle they had come upon. She had only just realized that they were near the ferris wheel once again. She wasn't fully aware of who was there though. She sat there and heard a little ding from above. She caught the parachuet as it was about the land next to her. She opened up the contents and looked at the two bottles of liquid. It looked like what Kai had given her earlier. She opened one up and drank it and then drank the other one.

She started to feel a little more with it after the second one hit her system. She turned her head to the battle that was going on but being the young girl that she was she stayed put and looked away. She wanted to make sure she wasn't going to be attacked by that clown thing. She wasn't even sure it had followed them all the way out here. She looked around for a place to hide as well. She would be stealth and she would look for places to hide. She was good at just staying silent anyways. She walked only a little bit away from the spot Sean had set her down in. She wanted to keep eyes on the area. She took a deep breath and then calmed herself down while looking over at the conjured form of her sister. "I did something right. They want me to stay alive. At least for a little longer right. I can fight right?" The last part was a question. She didn't want to give up but in the end she knew she was no match for the older two. No match at all.

"Give them a show that's what they want. You fought and you killed. You did something they wanted you to do. You did good. You did what you had too." She nodded to her sister and spoke softly again. "Its just, I got angry...i was upset when I...When I did what he asked. He's hurt me." She couldn't even say the name of the boy she had killed. The image of his dead body nearly conjured itself up in front of her and caused her to tense a little bit. "Calm down Sah..he asked for it. You did him a favor." Her twin was only trying to calm her down so that she wouldn't be in an extremely tight spot. Sean may have promised to keep her safe while he was still alive but had left her on her own for the moment because he didn't want her in the fight. However, if someone attacked or really hurt any of the member of her party she was going in. She didn't care what the others would say. She wanted to help. She wanted to keep them alive too. She wanted to do something. Still she stayed in her spot for a little longer before finally she decided to try to stealth her way into the fray. She had to help them. She knew it might be a bad idea but it was better then being alone on the sidelines watching them get hurt. Watching them possibly die she couldn't do that.

As she got closer she noticed the boy that had hit her with an ax and had really hurt her. She didn't like him much. She took up the machette in her hand and waited for the right time to attack him.

This will work similar to the BloodBath. 

Once you enter, there is NO escape. No sneak, blocks, or dodge allowed.

ALL who enter the Bloodbath MUST fight at least ONE other person, regardless of allies. This is a pit. 

You must make your introductory post with no attack (this will determine post order), and wait up to 24 hours for another players response. 

Attack in pairs, this means that the first person will fight the second person. 3rd will fight 4th. If you're an odd one out and you've waited your 24 hours, join a fight. The last person standing from each fight will take their chosen reward.

The mirrors have broken, leaving a semi-darkened room where in the center is a table. There are 4 canisters on the table and 8 of you. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Lucas snuck over to where Sahalie was. Everyone had been so preoccupied with fighting each other that no one noticed him slinking closer to Sahalie as he crawled slowly towards her. "Hey," he whispered to her hoping that she would not jump or scream. His index finger went to his cracking lips. He needed water badly, but he was not going to waste all that he had just to moisten his lips. He could go a few more days with the canteen he had and if he drank most of it now, he would surely be more than parched in two days time. He glanced over to the others just beyond them to make sure that no one had noticed him and he was still hidden from view.

An announcement sounded, making Lucas stop. A Feast. He looked at Sahalie, he wasn't sure he'd make it out of this alive, especially if he had to protect the little girl. And if he had any hopes of doing just that, he'd have to do better than what he had at the moment. Facing against two careers, and at the moment it looked like his District partner was with them also, was not exactly what he'd call fair.

"Sahalie," he said, "I'm sorry I wasn't able to find you sooner. We need to get out of here," he whispered. "I'm going to the House of Mirrors for the feast. Are you coming?" he asked her before crawling back. He hoped she would go with him, but if she decided not to, he couldn't really do much about it.

Kai took a deep breath and growled a bit when Sean missed his intial attack on the boy. She wasn't happy about what was going on right now and she wanted the boy dead. He needed to die for what he had done to their youngest and what he had done to Jade. She could see Jade now and she was worse for wear. She wouldn't say it but a part of her was glad about that. Maybe Jack could actually rest in peace with the person that he seemed to have been happier with. After all he had kissed Jade and basically announced to the world that he loved her. Kai shook out those thoughts losing Jack had hit her harder then she had wanted it too but she still had her team. She still had the one person that meant everything in the world to her. Sean was standing and ready to fight. He would take down any who stayed and followed any who ran. She looekd at Jade when she heard her full name. After all she could have ignored the girl from one for the moment while they got rid of the others. The girl who had chosen not to follow them and the boy. The boy that didn't deserve to be breathing right now. He should have died back there. He should have been more hurt then he was acting right now.

She let Jade's words slip into her mind. Jack...Jack said he loved her what the hell? Her mind was screaming at her. Her mind was snapping as Jade told her how Jack had died. That was worse that was far worse then not knowing what had happened. It was worse because the game makers had killed him. Because he didn't just die by himself. He died because of something happening. She didn't care if it was quick. It wasn't right, then again none of this was. She caught the dolphin necklace she had todded her. She looked at it and the memories of the train ride and the words shared and not shared came into her head. Jack was a brother in arms to her. She was glad Jade was with him but she knew what the game was. She knew how the game was to be played. There was probably something else behind everything any of them did. She loved Sean with all of herself. Ever fiber of herself screamed for Sean and not Jack. But every fiber was now yelling Jack's name because Jack had been a true idiot. Okay maybe not so much so a true idiot but he couldn't say those words himself. He couldn't open up to her and yet he had done it with Jade. opened up to Jade. A switch flipped in her head and her eyes went cold. She put on Jack's necklace and looked up to the sky. Four was still in this she would win for everyone in this arena. Everyone they had killed and where about to kill. She would do her best to avenge everyone one of them. Even the one that needed to die. However, as she was listening to Jade. The boy was running off again and an announcement sounded in the area. She let out a low growl and gribbed the sword she had in her hand. She wasn't one to be excellent with them but it didn't matter. The boy was gone and she was pissed. Jade was close to death and Jack was gone. It was her and Sean of the career pack left. She had to do it for the careers. She had to stop being kind. She had to turn into the monster that could save her own skin and could win the games. Could win and go home. Tears that usually were not seen on the girl from four's face started to stream down but she didn't care. She paid them no mind what so ever. She didn't need too.

She was crying for Jack, for Jade, and for the lose of innocence in this world. The losses that were felt every year they had to do these games. She was breaking and becoming the monster that the careers were supposed to be. She turned from Jade knowing that something would take her out soon enough. She wouldn't see it and that didn't matter. It was probably for the best. The blinders when up and the girl who attempted to run was trapped by the four of them. She moved swiftly over to the girl and smiled down at her. She put away the sword that was in her hands from earlier and gripped her spear. She didn't care what was going to happen next. All she knew as they needed to take this girl out. She went in to pin the girl down any way she could. Sean had gone for the girl's legs. This girl would not be escaping. As soon as Sean was done with his attack she went in.

Sahalie had been inching closer and closer to the fight but it seemed that the fight wasn't going anywhere at the moment. Or at least suddenly things were a flurry. The thirteen year old wasn't sure what to so about it. She tilted her head to the side for a moment. Why were people running. She jumped and nearly let out a scream when she heard someone say 'hey' next to her. She swung to the noise with the machette held high. Kai had let her with it for protection and she was fine with that. Her eyes focused on Lucas. So he was still alive. Where had he been all this time he looked bad. Not in the ways of being hurt but his lips were chapped and it looked not right to Sahalie. Of course hers probably looked that way. She only half heard what he said to her when an Announcenment sounded.

She looked up to the sky with this look that spelled out 'why'. It wasn't like they weren't all together now right. Of course that didn't really matter now did it. She wouldn't be going home so she might as well fight for someone else to do so. She looked over at Lucas when he asked her to follow. "I...I didn't go in. I had nothing...I was hoping for you to find me. I'm sorry Lucas." She said as she ran from him. She wasn't evil. She wasn't a monster but she was going to get away from him. He was heading the direction she didn't want to go. Those that had taken care of her and kept her alive thus far were infront of her. She heard Kitty's voice calling out for her. She looked for Kitty and found her burying her knife in the side of the girl from one. She shuddered a bit as turned towards the others. Lucas was out there and that was just fine. "Lucas was here." She whispered to Kitty before she ran at Serena. She looked at the other girl. She shook her head.

She knew full well that the girl wasn't going to be moving quickly. She wouldn't be moving at all once Sahalie was done. She didn't take pity on this girl because this girl was just as bad as the boy. She had paired herself with the boy that had hurt her. She took the machette and swung at the girl knowing that Kai and Sean would back her up on this one.

His blade along with Kais had severed the girl’s leg he paused as he heard her scream and looked down at her as he frowned and saw Kai “Don’t” he told her and kissed her. “Don’t” he whispered and moved away and moved towards where the girl had fallen and watched as she tried to struggle he paused and looked down at her face and gave a nod. “None of us wanted to die this way kid, but its how things are” he whispered to her and removed he paused debating how to stop the bleeding he removed her jacket and cut the sleeves and made a trinket around her leg and looked down.

“There, he told her eyes calm and almost sad. “I can’t do much else for you but we won’t leave you here to rot” he looked up and froze seeing Kitty who had her knife buried in Jade his eyes narrowed for a few moments before he looked away from the sight and shook his head and looked in the bag Serena’s bag and found the gauntlets and slipped them onto his arm and flexed, more defense he thought and breathed in and looked at the others and gave a nod.

“let’s head towards the feast…Its time we end this” he told them and took the weapons Serena had on her and looked at Kai, “ready?” he asked her as he picked Serena up in his arms. pausing "be brave Jade" he whispered to her tears in his eyes, another career gone.


Events: Sean steves and equips gauntlets and takes bow and arro

Kai was almost completely gone to the world. She was shutting out her heart and what made her her. She was doing it so that nothing in the games would phase her anymore. So that she could go home. She was breaking and there was no doubt in those that looked closely that she was going to be okay with anything. The girl they had attacked started yelling at her. She was calling them names and it only made her want to kill the young girl more. She wanted to shut her up. Even though she knew she's hear the girls words in her nightmares. She didn't care she wanted to shut her up so much so that as she kept talking she kept thinking of the ways that she could. She was a trained career even if she never wanted to be. Her stepmother had made her that way. She had trained because it saved her siblings. She had trained because it kept the abuse from happening. No one but her mentor and Sean knew why she could do this or that she could even flip that switch.

The next thing that got through to her head was a kiss. The feel of Sean's lips on hers. The word 'don't' ran through her head. He was trying to calm her. She just stared blankly for a moment. She had kissed him back but she was struggliing to find herself again. He always melted her. Just a touch from him completely melted her. The world was a cruel, cruel place and she wished things could have been different. She looked over to Jade and nearly growled as she saw what Kitty was doing but she tried to calm herself. It was only right. Jade had been almost dead as it were or at least worst for wear but seeing Jade dead made her want to kill again. She tried hard to think of something else. Kitty and her had started off not on a good foot and she could still remember what she had told the girl from seven. There would be a time that she would need to kill her but that time was not now. At least not right at this moment. She turned back to see Sean pick up Serena. She wasn't sure what was going on and had only just gotten her mind into the game again.

"Sean are you sure about this." She said and gave a nod about being ready to go to the danged feast that had been announced. This would mean the end she knew that. They would either die together or one of them would go home. She was about to move when she heard a ding. She picked up the letter that was at her feet. She opened it up and it was from Annie. The tears that had dried once she attacked Serena started to creep back in. Tears flowed from her eyes as she reached the end of the letter. She looked up to the sky and mouthed a thank you. She dried her eyes and held the letter close to her. So close that she stuck it into her shirt moments later. It would stay there and become bloodstained but she didn't care. She would keep it there because it meant the world to her. She turned to look at Sean moments later calm and collected again. She looked towards Kitty and Sahalie. "Come on you two let's finish this" She spoke with confidence and stood as she did when Sean had first met her on the roof. She was resolved to getting this done now. She was back to being the girl from four that didn't want any of this but was here to go home so she could protect her family like she always had been doing. She smiled at sean and walked up to kiss him again. She didn't pull away from a moment and didn't care that she was kissing him with Serena in his arms and making the younger girl watch. "I love you" She said softly too him and then looked out towards where they were going to go. "Let's go." She started to walk away from the area and head towards the house of mirrors. They had just come from that direction so it would not take them long. These games needed to end. What purpose the girl from eight would be used for was beyond her. She was sure Sean knew what he was doing.
