Johanna had so much going on in these Games. There was Lucas and how she felt about him, Snow who had threatened her with something "important" if she didn't commit to being a whore, and trying to act all nice to gain sponsors. The last thing she needed was a mental victor to talk to her about something crazy, but of course, that had to be added on to the list of everything going on in her unlucky and hectic life. Annie Cresta was a girl who was only two years older than her, but she was much more insane. Yes, every single victor had some sort of insanity, but the things she heard about Annie was some weird shit. She had won her games with a flood or something, and then had a breakdown. Johanna really couldn't believe she was dating Finnick either since she has only heard about batshit crazy things that she has said and done. The dark-haired female had just wanted to get food, that was all. But she had to see Annie there as well. She had entered the line and grabbed a roll. She nodded to Annie, trying to avoid eye contact and any conversation with her. She was a ginger after all, and every ginger she had known had been really strange. Annie was probably no different. Unfortunately for Johanna, she had looked so away that while she was walking, she bumped into the victor. "Whoops," was all she said to her. Johanna rarely apologized, and this wasn't the time to apologize. Out of all the victors, Johanna had to run into Annie. And now she was in a position of awkwardness. "Oh, hey Annie," she said with her eyebrows raised and a nod. "Next time, you should watch out. It's never good running into people." She was so awkward with people she didn't like, and this was one of those circumstances. Even though Johanna was quick to judge, she didn't care. She really didn't want to talk to someone who was in a daydream while she was in reality. The clouds were not for her, and staying on the ground was the only way to keep her sane. Johanna didn't know what was going on inside of the girl's mind, but it was probably something a lot different than the smelly lobby that the food was placed in.

She was in one of her moments, the ones that would claim her and she wandered the halls until Finnick or some Avox who took pity on her took her to her room and she recuperated. Those episodes could last minutes, or hours tonight she was on the second hour where she had started to just stare out the window and rock back and forth before she had left her room and walked down the halls. Her goals on these walks were never clear, instead she stayed on the same path where she had when she had walked the halls the first time she had come down to this area.
Seeing the bred she picked it up slowly not even noticing the other victor, instead of eating it though she stared ahead and walked as she felt herself run into someone she stared at the woman for several moments before she blinked and seemed to come back to her senses. “Johanna” her voice was rough from not being used often enough. Blinking slowly she watched the woman and gave a nod before she sat down at the table and closed her eyes taking a shaky breath.
“My mind wanders, I do apologize” she looked at her and shook her head, they were all mental and had their ways of dealing with things. She had dealt with her own issues in the past few years. Some days were better than others, when she would be more like her old self and then others?, she was nowhere to be found at the moment she was somewhere in between as she looked away and paused taking a breath she focused her thoughts after several minutes of just watching her and ate the bread.
“How are things at district seven?” she asked her after several moments. She didn’t care to talk about the games, while Johanna was a victor she was also an enemy in the games every year and she had to be careful what she did give away. Turning her attention to the roll she sighed quietly, would she ever escape the hell that was her own mind?

Johanna had to strike up a conversation with the crazy. This would be fun, especially with her mood. She looked at the clock and saw it ticking down. She had three days left until her meeting with President Snow. She turned her attention back towards the crazy girl. "It's whatever, it happens," she said with a slight mumble regarding Annie's comment to her mind wondering. It didn't shock the mostly-sane Johanna that Annie's mind was wondering. She wondered when her mind wasn't wondering. She was crazy after all, and every crazy person she knew was always stuck in their own mind. That must've sucked, because Johanna knew that if she was stuck in her own mind that she might have gone crazy too. Johanna might have been close to broken, but she wasn't insane.
"Perfect," Johanna said to the girl about District 7. It was a helluva lot better than the Capitol. She took a bite of the bread and shrugged. "I mean, there's trees and food on the table. Oh, and everyone isn't weird like here." She said as she took another bite of the bread. "So how's District 4? Still with Finnick?" She asked. Johanna really wasn't a fan of Finnick Odair. He was so attractive and young as well, and he had succumbed to Snow's plans. He whored around the Capitol just like Snow told him to. Johanna, on the other hand, refused and thought Finnick was one of the weaker ones because of what he did. Once you sold your soul to the Capitol, there was no turning back.

“we all have minds that wander” she admitted quietly. When it came to a sane mind, she was not sure any of them had a mind that was messed up in some way. Her eyes stayed on the woman, she didn’t seem to want to even talk yet she paused and watched her eyes soft as she looked away and didn’t speak for several moments. “I can carry a conversation Johanna, Its when I am alone that it hurts” she shuddered. That and when she would let herself go, which did happen when she needed to get away from the cruelness that was their world. Closing her eyes she settled in and watched Joanna.
“I am glad that things are well in seven, and that you and the others are okay” she admitted after several moments. When the conversation went to Finnick she gave a smile. “Yes we are still together, some days he is the only one who keeps me from completely being lost, he is a good man” she said after a few moments and smiled weakly. He had been there since she could remember almost, even when she had been a mess he had always been there and she would always be thankful.
“Things are well, father is getting closer to retirement” she admitted. “food is going well, people are doing as good as can be expected” she said after several moments.
