The ropes training station consist of low and high end ropes. Ropes span across the stretch of the training center across the ceilings. This course requires some know how in physics, but mainly requires skills in climbing and lower and upper body strength. There are advantages and disadvantages to a person's physique. Because climbing takes a lot more skill and strength that people realize, most who choose to run this course usually fail.
Those who are small and slimmer have less weight to carry, HOWEVER they must also have a lot of upper body strength which many slimmer people do not have.
Those who are more muscled have the upper body strength, HOWEVER that also means that they have to carry more weight.
When deciding whether or not your character should take this course, consider their physique and their strength. Again, make sure that their strengths and weaknesses actually match their physical appearance.
There are two different types of net for this course. One are rope nets that are taut. These nets are tight against one another and are easier to climb. The other type are loose ropes. Because they are loose, it is much harder to climb them and requires more strength.
Here is the course: 1 loose net that hangs from the ceiling 1 tight net that hags from the ceiling 1 tingle rope that hangs from the ceiling
-You will climb one of these to reach the ceiling where you will proceed to make your way from one end of the room to the other.
1 tight net that spans across the ceiling 1 loose net that spans across the ceiling 1 rope that spans across the ceiling
-After climbing up to the ceiling, you will use one of these to maneuver yourself from one end of ceiling to the other end.
Write a 200-1000 word response on what your tribute does in this station.

Lucas looked at the single rope that hung on the ceiling. It was probably one or two inches thick and didn't have any knots, just straight rope. Lucas was used to climbing, and even climbing single ropes. But they usually had knots to grip with. Pulling his arms back, he swung them forwards and backwards, warming up his muscles and loosening them up a bit. He could have gone for the easier climbs, but he already knew how to do those to perfection. This one was a challenge. Lucas then stretched his legs a little and made a few lunges before going back under the rope. He rubbed his hands together and wiped off any sweat on his pants. Then jumping up, he gripped on the rope. He climbed up a few feet with ease, making sure that his movements were smooth and swift. The faster he could get up the rope, the better. The longer he stayed hanging on, the more his arms and shoulders would weaken. As he got a quarter of the way up, he felt his shoulders get slightly weak. Pulling the bottom part of the rope under his foot, he wrapped it around and used the rope as sort of steps in order to help him get up to the top. It took longer to make the rest of the way to the top, but at least he was able to save up his strength for the rest of the climb. Once he was at the top he swung his body and lunged towards the next set of ropes. They were lose and not taut like the other one beside him. It was harder, but that was what he wanted. He had to make sure he was pushing himself or else all this training would be for nothing. Swinging his body, he pushed his legs up until the caught on the rope. He was like a monkey as he held on to the rope with both hands and both feet. Then he made his way down the rope which sloped down slightly. The climb was easy for him as the slope was going down and he was basically able to climb down towards the middle. The rope then curved upwards as soon as it hit the middle of the room. Turning himself around, Lucas made his way up the rope with his head first and feet following. He was now climbing up the rope, instead of down. It was slightly harder, but not by much. Lucas felt his arms and shoulder begin to burn. Looking at the far wall where the rope stopped, he calculated that he had another 10 feet to go. It wasn't too far now. He just had to push himself and make sure his feet didn't slip. His hand gripped the loose ropes as his feet climbed, the burn ever growing on his shoulders. He felt his arms begin to give out and go numb. Just five more feet. Mustering up all his strength, Lucas tried to climb faster but the faster he climbed the slower he seemed to be moving. He was almost to the end. He just had to grab 3 more ropes and that was it, he could get down. Just three more. Pushing his arm out, he grabbed the rope and pulled himself towards it, his feet pushing him. Another rope, another step. One more. Beads of sweat dropped down Lucas's forehead as he forced his arm to grab the last rope. His muscles were tight and he could feel them tense up, a muscle spasm threatening to grip his arm. With one more push of his feet, he gripped the rope with both hands. Letting his feet go, he swung them down the rails and stepped off onto the hard floor. Lucas jumped down and sat on the cold floor before letting himself collapse backwards. His arms throw out as if he was making snow angels. Lucas sighed and closed his eyes before sitting up and looking at the trainer who smiled at him slightly. She pointed at a timer, 18 minutes. Above average. Not bad. Smiling, he wiped off the sweat from his face and stood up.

Torr, out of all the people in the Games, probably was off to the worst start. His leg was completely.. damaged. At least they gave him a brace so he could actually attempt at surviving. He stood in line for the Ropes. It seemed that he should use some legwork. Why not? His leg was bendable, he'd just feel a LOT of pain. There were two people in front of him. They both seemed to take forever, but Training was worth the wait. If it helped him climb, it'd give Torr a bit of an advantage. He started just as the boy in front of him, the muscular boy with blonde hair, walked a few yards away. Go The trainer said, Torr started. He had to prove himself somehow, so why not go for the hardest stuff. Torr went on the loosest rope. The boy tugged on it for a few seconds, getting a feel.
The boy started climbing the rope, trying to use his feet. Footwork was the easiest way to maneuver through ropes. He started his way up, putting his feet in the middle of the ropes. It took him quite some time, but he finally made it through the loose net. It also took one time of hanging onto the ropes with one hand. Now, it was on to the walls. The choices, the choices. Considering he almost fell and broke his leg, again, he decided to take it safe. Torr went on the tight net. It seemed a lot easier. He was sort of.. upside down, but it worked out in the end. Eighteen minutes and forty-seven seconds.. not too bad for someone in your condition. Torr rolled his eyes as the trainer helped him down. "Screw you." He walked away. Words: 305

Serena watched Torr walk away. The course seemed fun so she decided that she would give it a try. The nets and wires hung from the ceiling and she started. It wasn't to hard at first. The net was easy and she dashed up it quickly. It was like when she climbed the doll house roof sometimes to escape the chores. She then hung for a bit on the tight net at the top, it was like the monkey bars at her school. Then she slid down a small wire to the ground. This was fun and easy. She burst out laughing. It couldn't have been more than ten minutes. That was hardly training for anything! The roof was more of a challenge.
Serena wanted to go again and laughing, walked over to the trainer, who had his eyes open wide. He said she couldn't go again, and Serena supposed that may be good, seeing as how her arms were aching slightly. Pulling her whole body was not incredibly easy, but not getting enough to eat had made her thin and light. Her arms were strong though, seeing from all the chores at the doll house, and often climbing the roof.
