The Hedge Maze, probably the safest place to stay away from tributes where it's probably impossible to find another tribute through the twists and turns of the maze itself. Located in the middle, there may be a prize for a lucky tribute who gets there. But, it'd take a very long time for a tribute to get to the middle. They might have to fight there way to it, to earn the lucky prize. Most tributes would assume that the 'prize' would be their death, but they never know, feeling adv Adventurous you might even try to go around the whole maze. But, the mysterious maze holds many mutts that no other tributes know what they could be. Maybe the mutts could be good, maybe they could be bad, maybe they were just there as decoration. It is a very scenic sight, you may lead to an opening where it may have a pond or a bench to sit down in and rest.
Once you step into the maze and put up your direction, there is no turning back. You may not retrace your steps. You must keep going until you find the end. The only way to retrace your steps is by "breadcrumbs" ie. putting a rope or dropping items to follow back. If you choose to do this, anyone and everyone can follow you.

Willow entered the maze, and knew very well that this could lead to her death. But, it'd be a fun adventure so she decided to do this and she'd go down from (hopefully) a mutt or trap. I'd like to see the careers come out alive from this, all of them. The girl had thought to herself as she walked, she grinned at the thought of that all the careers would be wiped out by this. Though, since it was a carnival there was most likely a petting zoo. The Career's, being the confident asses they were probably would go to the petting zoo, assuming they could kill all the animals for food. Probably would die, from the goats or something. The gamemakers always seem to be that weird. She started walking forwards in the maze, taking slow steps, because nobody was really smart enough to go into the maze; which was exactly why she did it. She wanted to prove that she was brave, and adventurous enough to go into probably the deadliest place of the arena besides the Cornucopia. Walking, she decided to go left as the first fork of paths came and walked.

 - RISE - "Together, we’re gonna rise with the morning light." Her first guess was right, joy. In all honesty, she really hoped that it was wrong and would lead to lead to some kind of mutt that'd kill her, but nope, her mind wants her to live. She started thinking about the guys of these games, and which ones were cute and which ones weren't. Now, it may seem kind of feminine for most people to read that, but she wanted to kill all the ugly people and kiss'n'kill the cute ones because why not? It would give a fun twist on her part, if she won and maybe got pregnant from it. That may seem kind of creepy, but she'd most likely name it after the father.. If she even wanted to, if she had named him after the father it'd give her never-ending taunting memories of the games and how the father died. Shivering, she decided to go left as it was he best option, most people would go right since left was right the last time, but Willow knew better. Or, she thinks she did.

- RISE - "Together, we’re gonna rise with the morning light." Willow has been on a roll so far, maybe she will come out alive. She hoped so, she wanted to make sure the person that she had been deciding on to help win won. It'd be a good way to make sure she's a good memory in the person's life, not a bad one. She didn't want to be replayed over and over in someones head as a bad memory, she wanted to be that one person in the games that they probably wouldn't have won without, the good soul of the games that everyone would learn to fall in love with. She accidentally ran into a bush that represented another turn; left or right. She decided to go right as it was probably a trick to make tributes think they'd go left every singe turn. It'd kind of end up them walking in a circle, continuously until they reached a trap or mutt. Poised, and ready to kill. Maybe this was a good idea, I could get some damn good prize here. The teenager thought to herself, walking forwards.

God Dammit, she thought to herself as she reached a dead-end. She must have miscalculated the Gamemaker's tricks, but she shook it off as she guessed she was decently close to it, she walked back to the area she had come from and went left. Hopefully, she got it right this time or she'd be quite confused. Willow actually started to think about it, and started to get scared. If she took long enough, the gamemakers would just get bored and send a mutt in after her in attempt to kill her. Running her fingers through her hair, she looked up at the sky. It seemed to be approaching dawn, and she would need a flashlight eventually. She walked through the area cautiously, as if it was filled with landmines that were ready to explode. Very well might be, but if so she must be very light for them to not had gone off yet. Maybe the careers might try and play tag in here, that'd be a goodbye to probably two of them.

Yay, left always seems to be right. There's the answer to that logic, Willow thought to herself with a snicker as it seemed to be the correct one again. By this point, she was almost sure if she had one more wrong turn she'd get a mutt thrown at her for a 'hug'. She walked along the path, and she came up to four choices. One to the very far Right, one in front of her but to the right, one in front but to the left, and one to the very far left. She had to think a bit, trying to decide a good way to go. She decided to go to the middle left as she walked there with confidence, as she had been right 3/4 times by this point. She grumbled, it was getting dark and she would probably not be able to see at all without some kind of flashlight. Maybe her sponsers might feel kind and give her one, most likely not, but she still had hope.

 - RISE - "Together, we’re gonna rise with the morning light." Shitshitshishtihsithsihtsithit.. SHIT. She thought as she reached a dead end, she could already hear the brush of leaves in the maze as the mutts approached; causing her to ready her crowbar. It might have been a funny sight, a teenage girl looking around with her crowbar raised as if were about to attack. She was about to attack, the first mutt that came near her ass. She looked around, and her eyes trailed to the spot the first mutt jumped out. Screaming a "HOLY SHIT" out loud she swung towards it, without even thinking about the possibility of another. Taking her chance of the one mutt being dazed, she ran off into another area, running into the far right fork to get prepared for the next attack. Blood was slightly running down her shoulder, great, just god damn great. She thought to herself, gonna die by deer. another thought. Grumbling, she said "You guy's truly suck, and probably try to also." looking around for any oncoming mutts. Hopefully, the attack would be over quickly, and she is the one walking out alive.

Bryce entered the hedge maze. He had no clue how he was going to find Willow in here. He really just wanted to follow any sound he could hear. He did the best hat he could to keep himself calm as he started to walk. If he was lucky he would hear her and possibly run in the right direction to get to her. He took a deep breath and started to move carefully through the hedge maze. If he wanted to get to her he'd have to think fast. He knew this was not going to end well but at least he knew where he'd be going. If Willow died in here cause he couldn't protect her he would never forgive himself. He had promised to do so. At least it was a promise he had made when they had first met months ago. Three months to be precise and they were the least three months they had been in their district living their lives as they should be living them. None of this should be happening but he didn't have a choice.

She had run as quickly as she could from the tent, she hated the games and these people who did it. Yet she planned ahead, thinking she saw the hedges and frowned as she walked inside slowly. She knew that she was taking a risk, yet staying out in the open was an even bigger risk she thought as she walked inside and took a breath. A maze, she could do this she thought as she bit her lip and looked around. She had no need to pretend to be afraid, she was out of her element and she hated it.
Taking out her bag she paused and opened it, no weapons a net she thought and smiled. She had seen what a net could do, standing she tossed it several times until she had it right and then took a breath. Her heart beat normal she started into the maze, a small girl just holding her net hoping that she would make it further into the games. She knew these area’s always had a danger, she would have to pray that she did not run into any of them.

 - RISE - "Together, we’re gonna rise with the morning light." Willow was about 75% sure of her death right now, as she barely hurt the one mutt and the other was still coming at her for more. Readying her crowbar, she bashed the one she had attacked before. Hopefully, they'd die finally so she can stop worrying. Her mind led to the boy that she wanted to help win, either her own district partner, or the boy she found most interesting. Finding herself in the middle of confusion, she shook her head as she cautiously watched the mutts for any movement. Obviously, they were circling around her like two cowboys at a shootout but she wanted to make sure she could bat either of the stupid-enough mutts to come towards her. Why didn't her attack not kill the mutt last time The teenager wondered to herself, gripping her crowbar she swung it, as a procaution to keep away. Probably a kind of idiotic thing to do, but it was Willow, what do you expect?

Lucas stepped into the maze, pulling his backpack tight into himself. He looked left and right, then deciding which way he'd go, he stepped forward. He tried to remember his steps, but the twists and turns made it seem impossible. If he could climb up to the top of the hedge, he could get a good look of what it looked like and perhaps find the other side or a certain area. But the hedge was much too smooth to climb, besides, it didn't look safe. Once he was far enough and knew that no one could find him, he pulled off his back and looked inside. Perfect, he might not have gotten a lot of things, but at least he had a knife. It seemed capable of doing some damage, though an ax would have been better, the knife would suffice.
He pushed the clip of the sheath of the knife into his belt line. Lucas didn't bother to cover it with his shirt. He took a small sip of water before putting the canteen back in the back and wearing his back pack once more. He wondered where Sahalie had gone. Wherever she was, he hoped she was safe. In a way, he hoped that he didn't have to run into her. But it was merely because he didn't want to see her die in the hands of careers or anyone else. And if put in the situation, he wondered if he'd try to safe her. Johanna had told him not to, but how could he not? He wanted to get back to his home, to his friends and family, to Johanna. But he wasn't sure if he could live with himself if he allowed Sahalie to die when he could have prevented it.

She had started down the path cautiously her eyes always scanning the area. When she heard the canons, she started to count the canons. Her eyes stayed ahead as she frowned. The number was lower than she had hoped, to many had gotten away it would seem. She was cautious and it showed but yet she momorizd the way she came. Her memory had always been her strength, now would be no different. She wondered what would happen if she just sat down and figured things out, yet she knew she couldn’t stop yet. She had made it into the maze, that was a start.
She knew her mentor had no hope for her, her district partner was the one she had put everything in for. She was on her own, which was how she wanted it as she walked slowly her eyes went around every few minutes, acting like a scared kitten in way over her head she shuddered slightly and took a breath and opened her bag and sipped the water inside before she closed it and wiped her brow and continued on.

She giggled, as the next mutt had come running towards her. Readying her crowbar, she swung it at the animal's jaw. Without any hesitation, she said a "Oh sweetheart, I'm sorry that I killed your best friend but I had to if I was to live." as she looked at the mutt in the eye with a sly grin. Without thinking, she started to back up. Grabbing her backpack, she got a quick sip from her water bottle before stuffing it back inside. The teenager started looking at the mutt, it seemed harmless when it was not attacking you... But, that's what the government wants you to think. With a grin, she started to talk to the gamemakers. "What about that, huh? Is this all just a SCAM so you pussies don't have to deal with the war again? We're the students that probably have been treating you kindly the whole year, and the careers along with those capithots are the popular, rich kids that always are favored by the teachers.. Right?" The girl shouted out, daring them to make her shut up.
Honestly, she was tired of it. Tired of the games, tired of the little children taken away like lambs to slaughter just to end up becoming capitol favorites to just, just die as that one career that was obsessed with death slit their throat causing their death. With a sly smile, she started talking again. "How about all those other victors, what do you do about them? Just give them money and a house, assuming that they're all fine and dandy? What are you going to do with the people that had been with them their whole life, not the people that just started warming up to them because they won the damn games. Everyone just assumes that winning the games means that their cool and you have to be friends with them, but their husbands, children, or wives will be woken up with the paranoid screams from nightmares that replay in their head... Day, after Day. It'll never go away, I don't want to win. I don't, but I won't go down from these idiots. I want to go down by letting the person that I helped the entire games win, I don't want to be the bad memories of their dream because I was that poor, idiotic girl that somehow got to the final two to just.. Die. I don't want those bad memories replaying in my head every day, and I doubt that you'd like it either. Oh, wait.. You have been doing this your entire lifetimes, you must be used to it. Am I right?" She spat out, taking a breath. Glaring at the nearest camera she could find. She was tired, and sick of the games and just don't care what the gamemakers think anymore.

Willow won, the gamemaker's apparently didn't send any more in so she guessed that her little rant a couple seconds ago made their likings. Before leaving though, she cut off the hide and took the meat as she stuffed it in her bag. Most likely, without any refrigeration the meat would end up spoiling. She started walking down the far right fork of the maze as she wanted to go further, maybe she'd find a huge med kit or something that could help her. While walking, though, she heard a ringing. The ringing she heard on the ferris wheel, signaling that she had a sponser. Turning around, she looked up and asked "Okay, where's your head at? What's wrong?" as she walked up to pick up the large sponser. Grinning, she now had an axe to kill people with. She continued walking, hoping that she'd get some kind of light that would help her get through the area faster. She started to wonder what the boy she had wanted to help was doing, she hoped that he wasn't dying. Or her whole entire plan would go to waste, or at least hers. Would she just win for him, and pass off that she had an attraction to him? Willow really didn't know, and had to focus on the present.

 - That's what you get - "When you let your heart when" Willow was experience almost extreme boredom, even though she had been breathing harder than someone who had just ran a marathon. Looking around, she tucked her hair behind her ear as the teenager girl looked around while walking. It was actually pretty bright, Willow didn't know why she thought it was so dark earlier. She probably was getting knocked up or something, it was perfectly fine and not that hot out. It was breezing, she felt cool. Goosebumps almost sprouted on her arms, as the clothing was very light and she had nothing to cover herself up with besides the hide she had gotten from the deer. She took the apple or whatever it was out of her bag and had bit on it a bit. Chewing on it as she walked, she found the next decision. Left, or forward. She decided to go forward as it was the only way that she really wanted to go. Forward, and onto victory.

 - that's what you get - "When you let your heart win." She was doing good with her path-decision for the moment, and decided that she should just calm down for a while. Willow started to kick a pebble, watching it skip a crossed the dirt ground and thumped to a stop. She twirled the axe a bit, causing it to get stuck in a bush. Pulling it out, she said with a chuckle "I am so excited to be back in the action, Demi." referencing the most death-obsessed gamemaker with yet another grin. As she started to walk towards the closest fork, she knew that if she probably missed a couple more and got a couple more right they'd get impatient and kill her off. Whatever, there goes Jack's possible victory. The girl thought to herself, as she thought about the boy again. For some odd reason she couldn't get Jack out of her head. It was weird, maybe because she was just being like one of the girls in her school who always adored the abs and always kept sayin they wished they were the ones in that tent with the cutest male tribute. She got to the fork, and had to make a really pricey decision... Taking her chances, she went left.
