Bellona felt safe in district 2, but that didn't mean she didn't feel awkward. She didn't know anyone there, despite the past six months she'd spent there. Sometimes she went to a bar to get a drink, but most of the time she found herself walking around the district, seeing more and more of it with everyday that went by. It wasn't her first time going to the square though, with it being her favorite place. It was the closest thing that reminded her of the Capitol with the flow of people and the buildings that surrounded it. It made her feel a little less lonely, less awkward and out of place.
She was carrying shopping bags, many of them and soon enough she would have to head home because of the fact that she only had two arms and couldn't carry more than she already did. It was a habit that was stuck from her upbringing in the capitol. Money was never an issue and she suspected that what she had was more than the people of district 2 combined. It made everything easy, or at least, easier than they could've been if she'd had to move to a new place and then not have enough to be comfortable.
Bell sighed a little and decided to take a break at one of the coffee shops. She sat down by a an empty table outside and soon enough a waiter came to take her order. She smiled at her. "I'll just have a coffee please," Bellona told her and continued to scout the square. She'd always been fascinated by people and their appearance. There was one girl in particular that caught her eye. She had seen her in one of the shops she'd been to and had been able to catch bits and pieces of the conversation she'd had with the owner. The girl was looking for a job and from the looks of it, no one wanted to hire her.
She was heading in Bell's direction and when she was nearby, Bell couldn't help but wave her over. For a moment she'd forgotten everything that she'd been taught as a child. Bellona cleared her throat and got out of her chair. "I'm sorry to intrude but I heard you're looking for a job?" She wasn't even sure why she was asking her about it, considering that she didn't actually know if anyone was hiring. It was easy to find a job though, all she had to do was call her uncle and she'd have one by the end of the day.
