Cameron walked through the forest as he admired the forests beauty, it almost amazed him they placed the forest in here. There was indeed a lot of arena's with forests, but this one was just top notch. Maybe it just looks a lot more better in person and those watching saw it as some kind of wasteland. As he walked, there was arustling in a bush nearby. In reflex, he threw his spear into the bush. Hopefully, it was just an animal he could use for food. NBSw9TJS5skill (For Hunting!) Cameron looked around the a bit to see if there was anything of interest. Sadly there wasn't. He sighed in disappointment and walked towards the bush he threw his spear at. He plucked it out, not knowing if there was an animal or not that he killed. (if it's a success he picks it up too) As he looked up, though there was a vine. He pulled it down to inspect it. It could probably work as a whip if he decided to turn it into one. In case it would be of use, he placed it in his backpack to keep in case it did.

Cameron had been standing there for a while with nothing to do and decided to go hunting. Even though he wasn't absolutely the best soul with hunting he knew that it'd be obviously important for him to eat and this was his only supply for now. The male walk around slowly, and spotted a large rabbit. The male knew that with his clumsy nature he'd probably get the rabbit scared away but it was worth a try. As he walked he accidentally stepped on a twig- and decided now was the best chance. Before he could even throw it the bunny had gotten away. Cameron grumbled. It was going to be a long hunting trip. As he walked he found a nice rabbit standing around just waiting to be hopefully killed. He had snuck up on the furry creature, and took a stab at it. (If he successfully killed it, he picks the rabbit up as well. If it fails, he groans in anger as the bunny ran away.) ny7T1hPu5skill (For Hunting!)

Cameron was getting slightly pissed off by the fact that he wasn't able to kill any animals. Maybe it was karma from killing all the tributes. He sighed. The tribute was obviously getting a little bit hungry- and anyone watching could see that easily. As the male from eleven walked around trying to find some prey in hopes of food his mind started to wonder and landed onto the topic of his brain tumor. The male knew that even though it was still early into the tumor- without any medication he might die easily. It scared him. He had two times the likely chance of dying- the games themselves and the brain tumor. He was probably seen as an easy target to others- he would obviously let others kill him right? Nah. Cameron wasn't going to give up at some stupid brain tumor. He was going to fight. Fighting meant victory. Case solved. The male had gotten out of his thoughts just in time to see animal. It was in the corner of his eye- but he could see it. A decent-sized rabbit, probably could feed him for a day. Cameron didn't know. Before he even knew it- he threw his spear at the animal. Hoping to kill it. (If it's a success, he gets the rabbit and spear. If it's a fail he grumbles on and gets his spear once more to hunt again.) gnlNQX3R5skill Hunting!

Harrison was running faster than Raya at this point, but even then it didn't take much time for both of them to end up in the forest. There was nearly dead silence, and the only noise he heard were the feet of himself and Raya hardly hitting the ground as they ran. "Love you!" he said quietly with a smile, looking back at her. He started to creep around, advancing into the forest place. At first it was just a little rain that then dropped onto the ground, but then it started to get harder and fall quicker. Harrison knew that any kind of natural disaster wasn't natural at all. The Game Makers obviously placed it in the huge bubble. "Uh-oh!" he said, remembering he saw some type of tarp that would prevent the water from getting on them. He looked for a place to set up the tarp, a place where they could still be productive.
He went to the middle of two trees, motioning Raya to come closer with him. There was a lot of motion outside, but he couldn't tell if it was the rain or an actual person, he took the tarp out and put it over Raya and himself, hoping that nothing bad would happen and hurt them any more than they already were emotional. "We can stay under here until it stops, Raya. Mind shedding some light in here?" he smiled as he became situated in the dark area.

Raya ran behind him, knowing that she could probably run faster but chose not to to preserve energy. She also felt one of her little "episodes" coming on again as she starting shaking. As she ran, she clasped her hands into fists to prevent herself from shaking so bad, digging her nails into the skin to prevent the shaking from getting out of control. The bag on her back felt heavier by the moment, and she was sort of relieved that the rain had started falling. It had given her an excuse to shake from "Being cold" even though the withdrawal effects were coming into place from the lack of morphling that the girl had. She never got to cure it despite her having a week to ask Jaymis. She had her mind on so many other things that getting a cure for her addiction had been the last thing on her mind. But here she was, regretting every moment of her forgetfulness of the cure. But it was what it was, and she had to try to keep it from Harrison. If he did see her shaking, he might leave her because she was weak.
She just smiled at him and didn't talk, knowing that if she did, she would give away the fact that she was shaking. But it started to rain harder, and she saw Harrison get out his tarp. He put it up, and she got under it with him. When he asked to get the light out, she smiled and nodded. Shaking harder now, she tried to make it stop. She unzipped the bag and got the flashlight out and turned it on. It was a lot brighter now, and it helped Raya to see in the dark. If he did see her shake though, she hoped that he wouldn't hate her. She hated the drug as much as anyone else, and maybe even more, but she still took it to feel better. It wasn't about the high anymore, it was about not wanting to die. But now, in the barren jungle, she had nothing to inject into her arm. Soon, the shakes would get worse and the drums in her head would pound louder and louder until she felt as if something was beating against her head. But she couldn't sleep, not tonight. If she did, nightmares would follow and her screams would blow their cover in an instant. But she huddled close to Harrison, wondering how she was going to survive with the drums and the shakes.

Grabbing the sponsor he had kindly found floating down towards him, the male quickly opened it. The sponsor was a tarp, it could probably cover him from possible rain and camouflage himself from any oncoming predators. As he held the item closely, he smelt rain- more like a storm. Looking around and spotting the outer edge of the arena it seemed that the gamemakers had released their first trap for the games. The male assumed that the sponsor meant to tell him that he'd need to get his ass in some shelter- and the shelter would be his tarp. The male grabbed five or four hand-fulls of leaves and berries and stuffed them into a pouch of his backpack so he could have possible items to eat. As the male took the tarp in his hand he ran over to a spot against the trunk of a tree where he wouldn't get decently wet through the tarp. He crated a small tent where he'd have enough room to lay out his items and backpack. So, he did so. Getting into the small tent he had created the male lighted the smallest possible fire he could- there was just dirt and his bbody covered up all the wood. The tarp wasn't close enough to the fire to the point he'd light it. It was in the exact middle- nowhere near touching anything. Placing his backpack on the side of himself along with his spear he had taken out a leaf from his backpack and ate it. Hopefully, his small shelter would suit him for a while. He felt a bit claustrophobic in the small tarp which barely fit both him and Raya. If it came down to one of the having to sit around in whatever rain there is, or whatever it is, he'd do it in a heart beat for Raya. She deserved so much more than to just be pushed around like how Thomas did to her. Harrison might not be too found of staying out there, but he would do we he could to make sure that Raya went as far in as possible, even if it meant himself killing himself for her, or just dying as a sacrifice. Mr. Martial would do it in no time at all, and no bull shit rain would make him rethink his choice for one second. As he felt Raya come in and turn on the flashlight, Harrison smiled. She said nothing, so maybe it was better if Harrison just remained silent for now. Who knew if there were predators waiting to catch their prey. Eliminating one tribute after another was the only way to get out of the games alive, and it seemed to be the easiest for most people. Trying to survive the elements seemed easy, but really it was quite hard. Harrison and Raya were doing it, but there were still some things that needed to be figured out if they wanted to live. They'd have to find food which neither of them had any at all.
He saw Raya's body go up against his arm as he suddenly felt urgent movement all around him. It was Raya, the poor girl was shaking like no tomorrow. She was probably scared and cold and confused without that dumb morphling, but Harrison couldn't blame her. She was addicted to it for two years, and the sudden stop must really damage the body more than Harrison expected it to be. It was also raining hard, the tarp protecting him from getting wet, but the rain drops hit him hard on the head. He could almost feel the impact hit him over and over. Raya continued to shake, beginning to worry Harrison more than ever. "Just, go to sleep," he whispered softly, gently placing his arm around her, pulling her in. The tarp made it hard to sleep, but maybe it was possibly if you curled up into a real small ball. Of course the rain wouldn't be of assistance either, but he could help her enough to fall asleep. Under no circumstances would he let Raya put herself through so much pain of staying away. "I'll wake you up when the rain stops. And then we can walk around the jungle- forest- whatever this is- and try to find some food. Just go to sleep," he whispered into her ear again, kissing her on the side of her head. "It'll be okay, I will make it be ok," he tried to be assuring to her, but he couldn't make too many promises. But who the hell cares, because he'd make it work in the spooky little jungle. Nobody would touch Raya or Harrison, not now. And if they tried, they would have a damn hard time trying to get out of it.

SIRI"The difference between want and need is self control"
(I'd just like to point out that you are both in the exact same areas so you're in each other's line of sight. Because Harrison&Raya and Cameron are each seeking shelter in the storm, you don't have to RP with each other now. But as soon as anyone goes outside of their tarp, they will see the other person. CAMERON, your tarp has +5 detection when hiding, so you can choose to hide by rolling but this post must be put up before anyone else in this thread posts their "get out of the tarp, the storm is over" post, because it doesn't make sense to hide when you're already spotted. lol.)

The tent he had created suddenly fell over, most likely from the wind.. But also because he had just recognized the tarp was way too small for a tent. The good thing was that the lighter had gone out right before- so the tarp didn't catch on fire. He scuffled around and started to peer out the tarp in hopes of it not being too obvious to the outside. Actually, the tarp looked almost identical to the surrounding forest. He grinned, the male would be able to easily hide within the forest with this bad boy. Taking the tarp, he shifted up against the tree in an angle that made him seem less visible to the world. Along with that, he took his bag in his hand while placing the spear under the tarp with his body, making sure the glint of his spear-tip wouldn't give away his position. Opening the male's backpack, he took out the canteen that was filled with absolutely nothing and placed it on the ground next to him. The tribute knew that this would be a possible water source- and took his chances with it. Tucking his whole body back under the tarp, the male took some leaves from his pack and chewed on them. Almost as if he were just doing it for his personal entertainment- to hear something besides the pounding of rain on the ground. Raya put her head on his shoulder, her cold body against his slightly warmer one. She could see that it was starting to clear up, but she didn't want to move. She didn't want to think about anything else right now except for the peace Harrison and her were having right now. But things weren't fair. She had a bad feeling that one of them was going to die very soon, but she didn't want that to happen. She loved Harrison, and she wished that she would have done...that...sooner. Maybe then would she be able to have a life with Harrison. She wouldn't have had to volunteer. She could have not been a prostitute anymore. Maybe her and Harrison could have started a new life. Maybe they could have gotten married and have had kids later on in life. But Thomas had put a damper in their plans, and Raya couldn't take it anymore. She was so angry inside, but she hid it from Harrison. She didn't want him to see the bad side of her. She never wanted to kill anybody. She never wanted to kill anybody...
He told her to sleep, but she knew she couldn't even if she tried. Everything was stressing her out beyond fixing. "I can't sleep," she whispered to him softly. "There are so many thoughts, and the thoughts will turn into nightmares, and the nightmares will give us away. I'm sorry," she said. Raya was a very apologetic person, and whether it was her fault or someone else's entirely, she still took the blame.
The drums were getting stronger and the weight of a secret lingered in her mind. There were a million thoughts scrambling in her mind, but one seemed to bare the weight in her head. She had to tell Harrison, she really did. But maybe the cameras were on them right now. Maybe they would kill her for this. Raya didn't care anymore though. She trusted Harrison with her life, and she would tell him anything. "I have to tell you something," she said to him, pulling him close. She then whispered ever so softly into his ear to the point where Harrison could only hear, especially over the rain hitting the tarp. "I...I k-killed Thomas," she said to him. It was a load off of her back, yes, but she wondered if he would hate her. She didn't mean to, but recent memory of that night came back to haunt her in her dreams the night before the games. She had taken three doses of the dreaded morphling, and it was the worst feeling in the world. She remembered Thomas waking up and grabbing her, demanding her to tell what she did. She told him, of course, and he said that she had to pay the price. But she couldn't. Not this time. The girl was so drugged up that everything was blurry, but she remembered nodding and saying that she would "be right back". She then went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and walked back. She didn't remember the in-betweens, but she remembered killing him. It was her fault. It was something that she couldn't remember, but a nightmare brought back the memory. "I just...I didn't know. Everything was going on and he was going to hurt me. I...I just had to," she said.
Thinking maybe a small nap would be good, she closed her eyes for a mere second and heard a sound outside. Standing outside of the tarp, she saw a boy that was trying to hide just as they were. She wanted to say something, but she didn't know if he was good or he wanted to kill them. "Are...are you okay? Please, I don't want to hurt you," she said to him, trying to reason with him and wondering where he was from. He seemed alone and without an alliance. She didn't have a weapon either, and maybe he would be able to help her. If he decided to fight her though, what would she do? He was innocent, unlike Thomas. It was unfair for him to die.

A voice entered Cameron's thoughts. The voice didn't seem familiar to the boy, but it was definitely a female. "Are...are you okay? Please, I don't want to hurt you," The voice had spoke. She seemed worried or scared. He wouldn't hurt her obviously, because he didn't know if there were to be any of her alliance members (if she had any) nearby. Cameron had peered out of the tarp and saw a girl peering at him. It looked like there was another tarp behind her- and a body was inside it. The sight was kind of creepy, but he assumed that the body was her ally. At least he hoped so. The male nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine." After some moments the tribute had recognized the girl. She was from eight and if he was correct she was pregnant. Well, looks like we already have something in common. We both needed/need medical help. The boy thought to himself. With a small laugh he noticed that she had no weapon or bag. The tribute thought of the vine that was inside his backpack. She could use it. Sure it wouldn't help much.. But he didn't know what she had skill-wise with weapons. She could just use it as a whip. Whips are useful right? Cameron hoped it was of use. Turning around he dug into his backpack to find the vine. Pulling it out- the male decided that it was too short for a whip. But if he were to collect more vines and tie them together it'd be decent enough. "I can make a whip for you. I mean, if you want. I don't know if you'll make any use of it though." The male said as he pulled down a vine and started to tie the two together. A crafted weapon is better than nothing right? Right. Turning around, the male looked at his canteen to see if there was any water in it that he could drink.

He listened to Raya talk to him, saying that she couldn't go to sleep. Harrison couldn't blame her because who could fall asleep knowing that you could die and not even know it. It has happened before, and it happening again would be no surprise to Harrison. As the rain continued to pour, he listened to Raya as she announced she had to say something. Mr. Martial smiled, expecting it to be some kind of lovey dovey the, but it was far from that. I killed Thomas.. she confessed, catching Harrison by surprise. At first, he stared a bit confused, trying to register the name of Thomas into his head. How could he forget that he was the person that ruined Harrison and Raya's lives? When it finally came up in his mind, his eyes widened in fear. He was going to hurt me.. he heard her say, but Harrison was still in too much of a shock to reply and comfort her. Harrison would have done the exact same thing if he had the chance. It was self defense, and nobody could tell her what she did was wrong. Harrison shrugged his shoulders, signalling that he didn't really mind it all that much. Personally, Harrison would gladly have killed him himself, and that was that.
After quite some time, the rain stopped pounding on Harrison's head. The rain was slower and gentle now, and soon it stopped. The only water he was was drips and drops of the trees above. Harrison peaked out of the tarp, and so did Raya. He listened to her begin to talk, but he ignored it. He mainly focused on folding up the tarp, shaking it around so the water on top would hopefully dry out. Then, he heard another voice and became suspicious that they were not the only ones in view of each other. He turned around, seeing a boy. His first instinct was to raise the machete high, staring eyes widened at the boy. He suggested making Raya a whip, so he lowered his weapon. Maybe the person would be a bit nice. Harrison shrugged his shoulders, seeing a rabbit begin to hop around. Harrison smiled, the thought of food controlling him to follow it. The bunny rabbit was probably pretty fast, so it might take a while to actually kill it. He put the tarp back into his bag, remaining silent. He couldn't scare the animal away.
He tip-toed closer to it as it jumped and hopped around. Harrison quickly went for the cute little creature, swinging the machete at it with happiness and joy. Food.. his mind called out, making him continue to whack at it, hit or not, he kept swinging. His stomach screamed pain; the emptiness begging him to actually chew on some food. C'mon, Harrison. You have to make sure that Raya stays alive as well as yourself. Go.. kill it and its friends, and get us some good food to eat, because I can't think too well when I'm starving. You don't want that to happen? Being dumb will make us die.. His voice was demanding and practically made Harrison go crazy. "I'll get us food, I promise.

Raya thought the boy seemed pretty nice.He seemed helpful too, and though she wished that she could ask him to join the group, she figured Harrison wouldn't like that. Holding her stomach, the girl nodded at the boy from 11. His intentions seemed genuinely good, and though she hoped that he wasn't tricking her, she still slightly trusted him. "Thank you, really." she said. "I can use a whip pretty good. If you can make one, I would definitely appreciate it. I'll try to help Harrison get us some food and maybe we can share, of course, if you're okay with that," Raya really wanted to help though she didn't know what to do. She never caught an animal nor had she ever made a weapon. She felt so useless in these games, and it didn't help that she was pregnant.
Turning back to Harrison, she saw him trying to catch an animal but failed. "Here, let me help," Raya offered, wanting to be of some use. It would be very rare to get the animal on the first time, especially without a weapon. But she grabbed the rope and sprinted towards the animal, hoping to grab it.

Cameron nodded and continued to tie the knot with the two vines he had collected. This would probably be the only way he would be able to create a descent enough whip.. Unless there was another way to get these all tied together. He couldn't use his tape, as after a couple of uses tape comes off easily if it's moved around a lot. As he looked around, the tribute saw them utterly failing to hunt anything. Cameron chuckled. Just like him earlier- which was why he decided to go with a nice 'salad'. This caused yet another sudden laugh that probably earned him a few weird looks. The male had decided that it might be useful for him to try and help out with hunting a little bit. As the male saw a small deer he decided it was definitely not big enough that we would basically be set for the rest of the games, but probably a day or two. As the male threw his spear at the deer- he hoped to get a full-on shot. Food was important. It was called the Hunger Games for a reason right?

This is a short post but ok.
Harrison had to keep on trying to get that rabbit, no matter what the cost would be. After hearing some words that Raya said, she tried to catch the creature with rope, and didn't have much luck either. The voice came back into his head, begging him to try harder. Don't forget you need water too, kid. Don't wanna die. His voice wasn't really helping his sanity stay, and with that he had to keep looking for both water and food. Multitasking would be difficult in the Hunger Games, but if it had to be done, it would have to be done. The water dripped and dropped from the leaves of trees. Harrison eyed all the water pouring quite quickly from the tree with a lot of leaves, and it seemed like it was pretty safe. The hurricane might have actually brought good rather than bad to him. He shrugged his shoulders as it continued to drip and drop. He looked at it closer now, trying to figure out if he just keep going for the animal or drink up and hopefully stay quenched. He chose the water, because water looked so much better.
He took small and quiet steps to the dripping leaves. He moved his tongue around his mouth, feeling how dry it really was. He put his mouth over the leaves and felt it slowly drop into his mouth. Each drop felt like heavy, and all the missing ones felt even better when compared. He kept his mouth under it for at least a few minutes, trying to get every last drop. He then too the leaves and ate them, trying to get any remaining moisture and edibility out of them. Hurry up Harrison, if you don't eat you'll die. He swallowed the leaves he had in his mouth.

Raya held her stomach, as it was growling softly. She felt the pole in her backpack, and she remembered seeing the thin line in her textbook. She had to go to the beach that was in her view. Maybe there she would get water and food, but she didn't want to abandon Harrison and Cameron, especially without a weapon. At the same time, her lips were dry and she could feel dehydration dawning upon her. She decided to keep her mouth shut though. Looking towards the beach, she saw the sun starting to set. Both Harrison and Cameron seemed busy, and she thought that maybe she was holding them back. The girl didn't have anything to bring to the table, except for shivering. Maybe the boys would be better together. But until she had a weapon, she would stay with them.
Raya didn't want Harrison to die because of her or protecting her. She loved him more than anything, and if she had to watch him die, she didn't know how she would react. But maybe, without him, he would stand a chance. She was just holding him back. Biting her lip, she put her back towards them and saw a flower sticking out of the ground. Squatting down, she picked up the flower out of its root. She smelled it to see if it was safe, and she figured it wasn't.
Can she eat the flower? [Probs not xD] 2hVY2wHH1skill

Cameron had noticed the male from eight taking a leaf in his hand and drinking the water. Taking that slight suggestion/note he had walked over to a leaf and drank a bunch of water from the leaves. It kind of got all over him but the tribute from eleven didn't mind- water was all he needed. As the tribute finished drinking up the leaves on one tree, he was pretty quenched and satisfied. Taking another small vine the male had started to tie them together. Once he got this last not tied, the girl would be set. "I don't think I ever learned your name, mine's Cameron by the way. The tribute had said, looking up at her while tying the knot. He was getting slightly bored with nothing happening after the hurricane but he highly doubted that would stay the same for much longer. The gamemakers did some horrible things to make people die. RA|5UmVn5skill tying the final knot for Raya's whip (if its a success he gives it to raya)

Raya had picked up the flower from its root and decided it was good to eat. She picked each petal off one by one, the flower tasting sweet like honey. And though it was a small amount of food, it was good to eat and quite filling, especially since she hadn't eaten anything all day. She threw the middle of the flower down when she was done, and she turned around to find the boy from 11 finishing up her whip. This usually didn't happen, as it was such a rare occurrence that someone would actually help her. He then asked for her name, and she nodded. "Nice to meet you Cam," she said with a smile. It was hard for Raya to be mean, even if she was defending herself, but she saw no reason to be anything but kind to the brown-haired boy. "I'm Raya, and my ally is Harrison," she told him. She could feel sprinkles of rain hit her pale skin, either indicating that there is a storm coming or that it was just going to be misty for the day. But Raya thought hard. She needed to move on. These three together...she had a feeling that someone was going to die soon. Whether it was her or Harrison or Cam, she didn't care. She wasn't being selfish, no, she was saving Harrison. She couldn't watch him die. She couldn't watch him defend her. She couldn't just kill people. Raya would defend herself as best as possible, but she could not kill anyone that was innocent. She would protect this child as much as possible no matter what the cost, but if it meant her causing the trouble, she would not do it. She could tell Harrison was getting antsy and was wanting to join a fight, and she could not do it. She needed to leave, and maybe if someone found her, she could ally with them or fight them, whichever move they made towards her. Cameron had finished her whip, and she smiled greatly as he handed it to her. In an outburst of joy, she hugged him and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you so much!" she said with a smile. "You won't be forgotten, I promise!" she smiled at Harrison and Cameron, excited. With the whip in hand, she looked down and nodded towards the both of them. She knew this would be the time to leave. Her backpack was already on her back with everything in it, but she couldn't just run away. She had to leave in a manor that wouldn't suspect the others until she was already gone. "If you excuse me, I have to go to the bathroom, but without the room and the bath," she said nodding and holding her stomach intensely. Because of this, they might think that she was going to be out long and needed to throw up. She needed to get out of their sight though if this was going to work. She walked for about five minutes and turned around. Their bodies were out of sight. Then, she sprinted. As fast as she could. She needed to leave, she couldn't have Harrison dying for her. She had to go. Raya ran towards the salt-smelling edge of the forest, using her agility to run as fast as she could. She gripped the whip in her hand, focusing on leaving and trying to execute the thought of leaving Harrison. She was going to see him again, she promised. She was going to find him and they were going to stick together. But she had to cross that thought out, because if she didn't, she would go crawling back to him just as she went crawling back to Thomas every time. RAYA EXITS THE THREAD AND HEADS TOWARDS THE BEACH
